Kerala HSCAP (Higher Secondary Centralized Allotment Process) 2022 for plus one (+1) Admission has been announced on 29th July 2022. HS-CAP plus one online Application form process last date was on 18th and 25th July 2022.

How to login to the HSCAP portal?

Keep ready your Application Number and Password that was recently created while applying for it. Remember to select your District and fill it in as well.

Step 1: Visit HSCAP's official website https://hscap.kerala.gov.in/ (The website may not open due to heavy traffic or page loading temporary issues - keep on visiting it).

Step 2: Enter your "Application Number" in the "User Name" field.

Step 3: Type "Password" in the appropriate field.

Step 4: Select your "District" and click on the "Login" button.

Step 5: You can use see the "+1 Trial Allotment result" on the screen. Make sure everything is correct.

Please note, candidates have no option to change the online submission again once final submission is done, thus, submit the Data and choice carefully. Also, candidates can take the printout of the final submission for future reference.

Candidates and their parents have to sign on the prescribed form + fee and have to submit the finalized printout at any of the School belongs to the district they have applied for the +1 admission.

What is Trial allotment in HSCAP?
A Trial allotment will be done for those who had applied for plus one and their allotment would be published before the final allotment by the Department of Higher Secondary Education. Candidates can do the final modification online for their option registration during this time. The trial allotment is not the final allotment and the candidates are not necessary to take admitted after the trial allotment.

It is not sure that the candidates would get the same seat they got in the trial allotment in the final allotment as there is a chance of modification by each candidate after the trial allotment is published. No allotment changes can be made by candidates after a certain time announced by the Board.

Applicants can get an idea of their seat getting from the trial allotment of Kerala plus one admission. In case you don't get a seat in the trial allotment then nothing to worry about as there is a chance to get a seat in the next or final allotment or chances of modification.

What is Final allotment in HSCAP?
In the final allotment phase in HSCAP plus one admission 2022, there are a couple of allotments, for e.g. HSCAP plus one admission's first allotment, second allotment, and third allotment, etc. After the trial allotment, the first allotment will be published and the next one accordingly.

The candidates are required to take either permanent or temporary admission to the school they have been allotted after the first/next allotment results. Those candidates who want to change school or combination after the first allotment can take a temporary admission and wait for the second allotment if they have higher options remains. If you got an allotment for a higher option, all the lower options will be cancelled.

If you are satisfied with the first allotment you have to take permanent admission in that school, otherwise, if you got admission to a higher option in the second allotment you will be ought to move on. Candidates who have not got an allotment after the first allotment can wait for the second allotment.

There might be supplementary allotment as well, on which the applicants who have not secured the allotment in the main phase are considered. Candidates have to renew their application with the latest available school and subject combination for reviewing on supplementary allotment if they have not got any allotment yet.
