The Chairman, Joint Admission Counselling (JAC) Delhi has issued the admission notification for the centralized admissions to B.Tech. and B. Arch courses of five reputed universities for the academic session 2022-23. NSUT is the coordinating institution this year for JAC. There are 6502 seats for engineering courses, and 90 seats for the B.Arch. course. 85% of seats in all the participating universities/institutes are for resident Indian nationals who belong to the Delhi region, and 15% for resident Indian nationals who belong to a region outside Delhi. Note that you will be considered as an applicant from the Delhi region only if you have passed the qualifying exam from a school/college/institute that is located within the National Capital Territory (NCT) of Delhi. Similarly, if you have you have passed the qualifying exam from a school/college/institute that is located outside the National Capital Territory (NCT) of Delhi, then you will be considered for the 15% reservation.
Admissions will be done on the basis of the rank scored in the Joint Entrance Exam (JEE) Main. Registrations will begin on 5th September and end on 25th September 2022 for the first round of counseling. If by any chance you miss out on the deadlines, you can participate in the third round of counseling through a fresh registration as per the given schedule.
The participating universities are Delhi Technological University (DTU), Indira Gandhi Delhi Technical University for Women (IGDTUW), Indraprastha Institute of Information Technology, Delhi (IIITD), Netaji Subhas University of Technology (NSUT), and Delhi Skill and Entrepreneurship University (DSEU). At Delhi Technological University (DTU): 4-year B.Tech. courses in 14 fields.
At Netaji Subhas University of Technology (NSUT): 5-year B.Arch. course and 4-year B.Tech. courses in 18 fields.
At Indira Gandhi Delhi Technical Univesity for Women (IGDTUW): 5-year B.Arch. course, 4-year B.Tech. courses in 7 fields, and a 6-year Dual Degree Bachelor of Mechanical and Automation Engineering (B.Tech.-MAE), and MBA with an exit option after four years (DMAM). Only female candidates can apply for all these courses.
At Indraprastha Institute of Information Technology Delhi (IIIT-D): 4-year B.Tech. courses in 8 fields.
At DSEU: 4-year B.Tech. courses in 5 fields.Eligibility requirements
Admission to the B.Tech. courses at all the participating universities/institutes will be on the basis of the rank obtained in JEE-Main 2022 in Paper-I. However, for B.Tech. programs in IIITD, additional eligibility that will be considered are the bonus points that you acquire through achievements such as in the field of sports, the National Talent Search, the Olympiads, etc. For admission to the B.Arch. courses, the rank scored in Paper - II of JEE-Main 2022 will be considered.
The qualifying exam is 10+2 from a recognized Board. To know the qualifying marks and subject combinations for the various universities/institutes, please refer to the official information bulletin. Note that those candidates who have appeared for the qualifying exam in 2022 and have been placed in the compartment (supplementary) will be ineligible to apply for admission for the academy year 2022.Online application procedure for JAC Delhi 2022
You must register in online mode only with a valid email ID and mobile phone number at the official JAC Delhi admissions 2022 website. It is advisable to check the official information bulletin for instructions, eligibility requirements, etc prior to filling in the online application form. You must also pay the non-refundable registration-cum-counselling fee of Rs.1500/- online or select the option to pay in cash/payment at the SBI branch.
It is important to fill in the correct details of JEE, namely the JEE (Main)-2022 application number, your name exactly as it appears on the JEE Admit Card, and the date of birth exactly as it appears in the JEE application.
During the online application process, you are required to upload various documents, including the mark sheet of the Class XII exam (or equivalent), the certificate of the Class X exam (or equivalent) as proof of date of birth, reserved category certificates if applicable, a copy of a canceled Bank cheque, etc (refer to the official information bulletin to know the complete list of documents).

Online registration and choice filling, along with the payment of the application fee will begin on 5th September 2022, 10 a.m. onward.
The last date for online registration and choice filling, along with the payment of the application fee is 25th September 2022, up to 5 p.m.
Verification of documents of those applying in the Defence (CW) sub-category and/or have made a claim for Bonus Point for IIIT-Dor reservation against KM seats will be done on 26th September 2022, for which the reporting time is 9 a.m. at NSUT, Sector-3, Dwarka, New Delhi-110078. Note that Defence Category (CW) candidates falling in Priority VI and VII are not required to report at NSUT (Main Campus), but should report only at the time of admission along with all the requisite documents.

Important note: On getting a seat allotment at the participating university/institute, you must pay the initial amount of admission fee of Rs.95,000/- as per the given schedule through online mode only at the same website (cash or cheque or Demand Draft will not be accepted). You must then report in person to the university/institute for verification of documents with both, the original, and self-attested copies of the required documents, including the receipt of the admission fee payment (the complete list of documents is mentioned in the information bulletin).Contact information
