UP NEET PG-2022 First Round of Online Counselling registrations schedule open

The Office of the Director General, Medical Education, and Training, Lucknow, Uttar Pradesh (DGMEUP) has released the time schedule for the UP NEET PG-2022 for admission through online counseling to postgraduate courses in the State of Uttar Pradesh, namely MD, MS, MDS, Diploma and DNB courses.

Who can apply for UP NEET PG-2022

Only students who appeared for the National Eligibility cum Entrance Test (NEET) for PG courses can apply for admission to the postgraduate courses at Government colleges/institutes/universities/hospitals, private medical colleges/institutes/universities/hospitals, and dental colleges/institutes/universities/hospitals.

Time Schedule for UP NEET PG-2022

The key dates are-

Online registration begins: 26th September 2022, from 2 p.m. onward.
Online registration ends: 28th September 2022, up to 2 p.m.
Submission of online registration fee: 26th September 2022, from 2 p.m. onward.
Closing date of submission of online registration fee: 28th September 2022.
Submission of online security fee: 26th September 2022, 2 p.m. onward.
Closing date of submission of online security fee: 29th September 2022.
Expected date of declaration of the Merit List: 28th/29th September 2022.
Start Date of online choice-filling: 29th September 2022, 2 p.m. onward.
Ending date of online choice-filling: 2nd October 2022, up to 2 p.m.
Declaration of the result of seat allotment: 3rd and 4th October 202.
Dates for downloading allotment letters and admission date: 5th October 2022 up to 8th October 2022.

As mentioned earlier, students can register for admission to the following courses-
  1. Doctor of Medicine (MD)

  2. Master of Surgery (MS)

  3. Master of Dental Surgery (MDS)

  4. Diploma

  5. Diplomate of National Board (DNB)

UP NEET PG-2022 First Round Application Procedure

For registration, you should first keep ready your NEET PG Roll Number and email ID. This email ID should be the same one that you used for registration in NEET PG-2022/NEET MDS-2022.

Visit the online registration portal https://upneet.gov.in to log in and follow the instructions that appear on the screen.

Registration fee: It is mandatory to pay the registration fee of Rs.3000/- through online mode only.

Security fee deposit: The security fee deposit should also be made online mode. The fee is as follows-
For Government Medical Colleges: Rs.30,000/-.
For Government Dental Colleges: Rs.30,000/-.
For Private Medical Colleges: Rs.2,00,000/- (Rs. 2 lakhs).
For Private Dental Colleges: Rs.1,00,000/- (Rs. 1 lakh).

Important note: If you wish to avail of PWD reservation in Postgraduate seats of Govt. State medical institutions, then you must obtain the disability certificate as per the 21 Benchmark Disabilities given under the RPWD Act 2016, as per NMC norms. This certificate should be obtained from the designated disability centers. A certificate that is obtained from any other hospital/Board will not be accepted.
