About PGDM Hospital & Health Management
The Post Graduate Diploma in Management (PGDM) Hospital & Health Management is a two-year full time residential program. The program is equivalent to an MBA degree from any of the Indian universities as per the Association of Indian Universities (AIU). The course is AICTE-approved and NBA accredited. The total number of seats for the program is 180. The program offers the following specialisations.
The aim of the program is to impart the participants with the requisite skills in domains such as human resource management, operational management, consultancy, diagnosing and problem-solving in management, planning, implementation, innovations and entrepreneurship. The program helps groom the participants into professional managers. Graduates from the program have been employed in a number of corporate hospitals and healthcare institutions, both in the private and public sectors. Those in the final year of their graduation studies awaiting their final results may also apply. Such candidates will be offered provisional admission subject to submitting their final-year results within two months of admission. Selection procedure
Based on fulfilling all the above three eligibility criteria, applicants will be shortlisted for Group Discussion (GD) and Personal Interview (PI). For the final selections, proportionate scores will be allotted to the candidates based on their qualifying degree marks/CGPA, Management Aptitude Test score, and performances in the Group Discussion and Interview. During Group Discussions and Interviews, the candidates are to be in possession of their original documents.How to apply
The application for the PGDM program in Hospital and Health Management can be done online by visiting the PGDM admission page at the official website of IIHMR Delhi. Candidates may also send their completely filled-in application forms by post along with copies of the requisite documents and a demand draft of Rs 1,000/- as the application fee. The demand draft is to be drawn in the name of the 'International Institute of Health Management Research' payable at New Delhi. For online applications, the fee is to be paid through e-payment. The application fee is non-refundable.
Fee structure
The total fee for the entire two years of the program is Rs 7,75,000 payable in five instalments as given below. Students can avail of educational loans from a host of banks by registering at the loan portal given on the IIHMR website. The institute offers a number of merit scholarships on first cum first-serve basis, where a portion of the tuition fee is waived.

Regarding refunds, in case any candidate withdraws from the program before its commencement, an amount of Rs 1,000 will be deducted while refunding the balance amount paid by the candidate. No refund other than the caution deposit of Rs 5,000 in case seats remains vacant.Summer training and internships
At the end of their second semester, the students get to attend a summer training of a minimum of 8 weeks at a healthcare organisation. The students are assessed based on their performance during the training. The students also need to submit a dissertation on a topic of current interest and submit it by the end of the second year.Placements
Graduating students find placement in a number of healthcare fields such as hospitals, pharmaceuticals, laboratory services, consulting, defence services, NGOs, healthcare manufacturing industries, and so on.
