About the Institute

National Institute of Technology Warangal was established in 1959 as a public technical university by the Government of India and is a well-known Institute of National Importance. The institute is accredited by NAAC and also ranked by NIRF 2021 in Engineering. It offers undergraduate, postgraduate, and doctoral programs. Currently, NIT Warangal is inviting applications for admission to the MBA programs for session 2023-2025.

Eligibility Criteria

Applicant should be citizen of India

Candidate should have a first class in the qualifying Bachelor's Degree exam in any branch of Engineering/Technology from a recognized University/Institute with at least 60% marks in aggregate (Ist to IVth year) or 6.5 CGPA on 10 point scale.

A valid CAT /MAT score.

SC/ST/PwD candidates with 55% aggregate marks or 6.0 CGPA on a 10-point scale and a valid CAT/MAT score are eligible to apply for the program.

Reservation Policy

Reservation will also be there for the candidates belonging to the SC, ST, OBC, and EWS categories as per Government of India norms.

Application Process

For admission to the MBA program, the candidates must visit the official website of NIT warangal and check the instructions before applying. The application form is to be submitted online which is available at http://nitw.ac.in. All the necessary documents are to be uploaded online. And candidates have to submit the completed application form along with self-attested copies of essential documents. The payment of the non-refundable processing fee of Rs. 1600/- (for UR, OBC & EWS) and Rs. 800/- (for SC/ST/PwD candidates) is to be done only through SBI online "SBI Collect" into the account of the Dean NIT Warangal. The envelope must contain the following header "Application form for MBA Admission".

Result of Qualifying Graduation Exam

Scorecard of 10+2 level

Scanned copy of caste Certificate

scanned copy of Integrated Community Certificate

scanned copy of EWS/OBC certificate (if any)

Scanned copy of PwD certificate (if any)

CAT/ MAT scorecard and admit card

conduct certificate from the head of the institute which was last attended.

Selection procedure

Selection will be based on valid CAT/MAT scores followed by group discussion and personal interviews. The screening of the candidates will be done based on scores obtained in the CAT/MAT examination followed by Group Discussion and Personal Interviews. Candidates will be shortlisted based on score and will be called for Group Discussion (GD) and Personal Interview (PI).
