The Jawaharlal Nehru Centre for Advanced Scientific Research (JNCASR) is a multidisciplinary research institute located at Jakkur, Bangalore, India. It was established by the Department of Science and Technology of the Government of India. It is one of the reputed research institutes in India.

The PGDM program offered by the institute is a two-semester one-year full-time program. Postgraduate Diploma in Materials Science (PGDMS) is a two-semester (one-year) program. Teachers from colleges and universities with M.Sc. as the basic qualification are eligible to apply. The training will be provided through projects and formal courses. A stipend will be paid as per norms. Boarding and lodging facilities are available. A Postgraduate Diploma will be awarded on successful completion of this program. Candidates should have passed M.SC. Teachers from colleges and universities with M.Sc. as the basic qualification can also apply. Application Procedure
Desirous candidates must visit the Official website of JNCASR and read the instructions given in the official notification. The candidates must note that there is a separate application form available for a different course. Hence, a prescribed application form for a course is to be chosen and filled out. Eligible candidates must register themselves by submitting their details like name, date of birth, email id, and mobile id. After successful registration, the candidates will receive a user id and password. Using those credentials the candidates can log in and fill out the application form, upload the necessary documents, and pay the application form fee through the online payment mode. You have to Upload scanned images of the photograph and signature. The image should be in jpg/jpeg format only. The size of the photo image must be between 10 kb to 200 kb.
