About Gautam Buddha University, Greater Noida
Being established in the year of 2008 by the Uttar Pradesh Act (9) of 2002, Gautam Buddha University is fully funded by NOIDA, the New Okhla Industrial Development Authority and GNIDA, the Greater Noida Industrial Development Authority, the undertakings of the UP Government. The university campus is built on an almost 511-acre area. It is also recognized by the University Grants Commission, UGC and a member of the Association of Indian Universities. It is also NAAC accredited with B+ Grade. Its five years Integrated B.A. LLB program is approved by the Bar Council of India. Its two years B.Ed. program is recognized by the National Council for Teacher Education, NCTE. The university also offers M. Phil. (Clinical Psychology) course of 2 years duration which is approved by the Rehabilitation Council of India. B.Arch. and M. Arch. Programs in Architect and Planning are also approved by the Council of Architecture, India. The university is also accredited by the Joint Accreditation System of Australia & New Zealand (JAS-ANZ).
However, the university has presently announced admission notification for various courses under undergraduate, postgraduate, doctoral, postgraduate diploma, diploma as well as certificate levels Interested and eligible candidates should register their online applications within the scheduled time frame.
UG Course details
Bachelor of Arts
Candidates may take admission to this course with an honors in any of Political Science, History, Economics, English, Hindi, Urdu, Journalism & Mass Communication and Buddhist Studies
Course Code: Honors in Political Science - UHS05 Honors in History – UHS06 Honors in Economics – UHS07 Honors in English – UHS08 Honors in Hindi – UHS09 Honors in Urdu – UHS10 Honors in Journalism & Mass Communication – UHS11 Honors in Buddhist Studies – UBS01
Eligibility criteria: Applicants should be 10+2 standard passed in any discipline from a recognized school or with at least 45% marks or equivalent grade which is relaxed to 40% for SC/ ST candidates.
Available seats: No. of Seats for Honors in Political Science: 120 nos. No. of Seats for Honors in Political Science: 30 nos. No. of Seats for Honors in Economics: 30 nos. No. of Seats for Honors in English: 60 nos. No. of Seats for Honors in English: 30 nos. No. of Seats for Honors in Urdu: 30 nos. No. of Seats for Honors in Journalism & Mass Communication: 30 nos. No. of Seats for Honors in Buddhist Studies: 30 nos.
Course fees: One-time non-refundable amount of Rs. 10000 should be paid as Registration and Counseling Fee at the time of Admission. Also, one-time refundable amount of Rs. 10000 should be deposited as security fee. Rs. 2000 each as Library Fee and Sports Fee should be paid once during the course duration. Rs. 22,000 and Rs. 1500 should be paid semester wise as the Academic Fee and Exam Fee respectively.
However, the semester wise academic fee is Rs. 18000 for honors in Hindi, Urdu and Buddhist Studies.
Selection process: Candidates will be able to take direct admission to the above programs in Gautam Buddha university based on the merit list in the qualifying examination.
h3>Bachelor of Social Work Course code for Bachelor of Social Work is UHS12. There are 30 seats available in this program. Eligibility, selection process and course fees are same as BA with History honors program.
B.A./ B.SC. (Hons. in Applied Psychology)
Course code for BA/B.Sc. program with Honors in Applied Psychology is UHS13. Required eligibility and selection procedure are same as above programs. However, students from science stream will be selected for B.Sc. honors program. Available seats are 35 numbers. Course fees will also be same as BA with History honors program except semester wise academic fee of Rs. 35000.
Bachelor of Commerce (Hons.)
Course code of B.Com honors is UMG02. Available number of seats is 60. Required eligibility, selection procedure and course fees are same as BA with History honors program except semester wise academic fee of Rs. 40000.
Bachelor of Science
Candidates may pursue the course of Bachelor of Science with honors in any of Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics. Course code is UVS02, UVS03 and UVS04 respectively for honors in Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics. Candidates should be passed in both theory and practical separately in 10+2 standard exam with Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics having at least 55 % marks in concerned subject in the qualifying exam which is relaxed by 5% for SC/ST candidates. Number of available seats for each discipline is 30. Selection procedure and course fees are same as BA with History honors program except semester wise academic fee of Rs. 25000.
B.Sc. Honors with Mathematics, Statistics and Economics
Course code is UVS05. Candidates should be passed in both theory and practical separately in 10+2 standard exam with Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics having at least 55 % marks in Mathematics in the qualifying exam which is relaxed by 5% for SC/ST candidates. Seat availability, selection procedure and course fees are same as same as above B.Sc. programs.

Application procedure
Candidates should follow the below steps carefully which will help them to know how to register online applications for admissions to Gautam Buddha university:
