Improvement of memory should be a continuous effort on the part of students.They should not be satisfied with their references of the books alone but they should recollect all the events which they have extracted from the different sources.
Though reading aloud helps in memorizing the texts, staying focused on reading without the diversion of the mind could be the best way to absorb the materials. To know how far one has grasped the texts from the books, they should jot down the details in a separate notebook and should later cross check if there is any omission of vital points.
