There are separate exam dates, one for Winter-bound JNVs, and the other for Summer-bound JNVs. Good to know- There are a total of 649 JNVs, with not more than 80 seats available in one JNV. The number of seats may be reduced to half as per accommodation available. At least 1/3rd of the total number of seats in a JNV is reserved for girls, and a minimum of 75% of the seats in a District are for students from the rural areas of that district. Seats are also reserved for SC, ST, OBC and differently-abled candidates as per Govt. norms. While applying online, parents should ensure that they fill in all the information correctly, and upload all the required documents. If any box is left blank or a document is not uploaded, then the application is likely to be rejected. Also, the documents that are uploaded should be the same as those that are produced in original later at the time of verification of admission at the JNV. There should be no mismatch in the documents.
