PG Diploma Programme in Training and Development (Dip TD) from ISTD

Introduction
The Indian Society for Training & Development (ISTD) is a professional body registered as a society under the Societies Registration Act, of 1860. This institute is affiliated with the International Federation of Training and Development Organisations (IFTDO), Geneva. Many institutions as well as individuals are registered in the institution as members. This institute has chapters in different cities across the country. The institute organizes training programs at the national level and also at the Chapter level.
ISTD started a PG Diploma Programme in Training and Development (Dip TD) in the year 1979. This course is mainly for developing training skills in the individuals. This course will be very useful to the people working in the training and HR departments of various organizations. Many working professionals in various private and government organizations have undergone this Dip TD. This is a distance education program and the course duration is about 18 months. The medium of instruction is English only. The Government of India recognized this professional course. The course is recognized by the Ministry of Education, Government of India. Sri Sri University, Cuttack, Odisha and Assam Kaziranga University, Jorhat, Assam are having an MOU with this institute. The students who completed this diploma from this institute will be eligible for lateral entry to these universities in the 2nd year of their Master of Business Administration (MBA) course,Eligibility Criteria

Candidates who are in their final year can also apply but they should be able to produce the pass certificate should be produced at the time of joining.Admission Process:
The admission will be given to eligible candidates and the procedure to be followed as per the process given below-

https://www.istd.in/. There the candidate should get his name registered as a student and then the admission application should be filled out online and pay the admission fee also online. The candidate should download his admission application. There will be two batches every year. One batch will start in January and the second batch will start in July every year. The last date for submission of the application form for the July batch is extended up to the 21st of July and the last date for the January 2024 batch is 30th November 2023.Curriculum Details:
A student has to write 12 compulsory papers. 11 papers are common. They are-
The 12th paper is an elective subject. The student has to select one from the following three subjects-
Students who passed 10 papers and an internship project will be awarded a Diploma, while students who passed all 12 papers and internship projects will be awarded PG Diploma. Examinations:
Fee Details:
The registration fee for the course is Rs.1500/- and this should be paid online at the time of registration.
The course fee is Rs.60770/- including GST and can be paid in full at the time of registration or can also be paid in 3 instalments. 1st instalment at the time of registration and the amount to be paid is Rs. 21948/-. 2nd after 6 months and 3rd instalments after one year can be paid. The amount is Rs.20718/-.
The examination fee will be Rs. 500/- for one paper and is it to be paid before the last date as informed to the student during the course.Support from the institute
