XIMR Mumbai Master of Management Studies program admissions 2023 against vacant seats

Xavier Institute of Management & Research (XIMR), Mumbai has released the admission notification for 12 institute-level seats and vacant seats for admission to the Master of Management Studies (M.M.S.) program. These seats will come up after the Common Admission Process (CAP) rounds. The sanctioned intake for the 2023 batch is 60.

Note that it is necessary to follow the DTE MMS-2023 online procedure on their website and you should be on their merit list, otherwise, you will not be eligible to get admission to the MMS program at XIMR.About XIMR MMS program
Established in 2006, XIMR Mumbai is a highly reputed B-School offering an AICTE-approved Master of Management Studies (M.M.S.) program that is affiliated with the University of Mumbai, and the syllabus is based on the curriculum as set by the University. The two-year program (a total of 4 semesters) has Core and Major modules and Electives. Other than for two papers in the second year of the program, for all others there is an internal assessment system, in which 50% of marks are for continuous classroom assessment, and the rest for a written exam. In the case of the University papers, 40% of marks will be assessed internally, while the evaluation of the remaining 60% is done through the University exam.
The M.M.S. program is so designed that you not only attend classroom lectures, and work on individual and team projects, but also are involved with case studies. You will also get the opportunity to get hands-on experience through summer internships at the end of the first year, for approximately 8 to 10 weeks.
Employment opportunities after XIMR MMS
Students who have successfully completed the XIMR M.M.S. program have been hired by banks, FMCG companies, financial advisory firms, etc. Credit goes to the very efficient placement process of XIMR and, no doubt, the XIMR Placement Week is one of the plus points of the XIMR MMS program.
Any Company that is keen to hire XIMR management students can fill up the online registration form to express their interest to be part of the XIMR Executive Placement Season. The company officials can come to the campus and arrange a Pre-Placement session with the students on a mutually agreed date, detailing the job roles available, what the student can expect in terms of a career path later, the remuneration and perks, etc. The company also has the option to send XIMR a copy providing all these relevant details.
Once students apply, those who are shortlisted by the company will go through the selection process during the placement week. This process may involve a test and/or a Group Discussion or a Case study. Interested students will then apply for the position. The company is also welcome to contact the Placement Coordinator for a convenient date to meet the shortlisted candidates on campus.
