University of Mumbai IDOL MMS, MCA entrance test 2023 last date to apply extended
Missed out on submitting the online form for the 2023 entrance test of MMS or MCA Mumbai University's distance learning course? Good news! The last date to submit the form has been extended. Know the closing date and eligibility requirements for both programs through this informative article.
The Institute of Distance and Open Learning (IDOL), University of Mumbai has announced an extension in the closing date to submit applications for the 2023 entrance exam for Masters in Management Studies (MMS) and Master of Computer Application (MCA). These are 2-year programs offered through distance learning mode. The entrance test for both is scheduled for 13th August and students have a chance to fill in the online form for the entrance exam till 7th August.

Both, MMS and MCA programs, are approved by UGC and AICTE. There are 720 seats for the MMS program and 2000 seats for the MCA program. The MMS program has core subjects as well as Electives. The official website has the detailed syllabi of both programs.
Eligibility requirements
For MMS program
You should have passed a minimum 3-year or 4-year Bachelor's Degree exam in any discipline from a UGC-recognized university or Association of Indian Universities I with a minimum of 50% marks in aggregate or equivalent. Students of Maharashtra State who are applying in the categories of backward class, Economically Weaker Section (EWS), and Persons with Disability (PwD) should have obtained at least 45% marks in aggregate or equivalent.For MCA program
Only Indian nationals can apply. You should have passed B.C.A or B.Sc. (Computer Science) or B.Sc (IT) or B.E. (CSE) or B.Tech. (CSE) or B.E. (IT) or B.Tech. IT or an equivalent Degree with a minimum of 50% marks in aggregate. Students of Maharashtra State who are applying in the categories of backward class, Economically Weaker Section (EWS), and Persons with Disability (PwD) should have obtained at least 45% marks in aggregate or equivalent.
Also acceptable-
You should have a Graduation degree, such as B.A. or B.Com. or B.E. or B.Tech. or B.Voc. etc preferably with Maths as a subject at the 10+2 Level or at the graduation level (with additional bridge Courses as per University norms) and obtained a min. of 50% marks in aggregate (3-year or 4-year course). Students of Maharashtra State who are applying in the categories of backward class, Economically Weaker Section (EWS), and Persons with Disability (PwD) should have obtained at least 45% marks in aggregate or equivalent.
Note- If you have appeared for the final year exam of any Bachelor's degree, then also you are eligible to appear for the entrance exam for the two programs.Application procedure for IDOL MMS and MCA programs
