Maharashtra National Law University (MNLU), Nagpur has issued the admission notification for the PG Diploma courses for the academic session 2023-24. The courses are in association with the Rajiv Gandhi National University of Law, Punjab. All the courses will be conducted in a hybrid learning mode, that is, with both online and on-campus classes. The PG Diploma courses are for the duration of one year over two semesters, with three papers in each semester. Evaluation is done through a paperless exam having objective and subjective questions, with a total of 100 marks for each paper, and a dissertation. You must score a minimum of 50% on each paper to pass, and the university will award the PG Diploma once you successfully complete all the other course requirements, including presentations, the dissertation, viva, etc.
You must complete the course within a maximum of 3 academic years, starting with the year of getting admission. That is, in case you cannot complete the course within one year, you will be permitted to continue the course for a further period of 2 years or till all the requirements are met, to receive the PG Diploma certificate. In such a case, you must pay the re-registration fee. If you do not complete the course within 3 years, then you cannot continue further and will be required to enroll again for it.
You have to attend contact classes on the MNLU Nagpur campus as per the schedule that will be given, with these classes only on Saturday and Sunday. The study material and information about the modules of each course will be sent to you on enrollment for the course. You will be given access to the books as well as the electronic resources of the library at the MNLU Nagpur campus throughout the course on all working days, on showing your course ID card at the library. No campus or off-campus accommodation will be provided for the course or for the exam.
MNLU PG Diploma Courses Eligibility requirements
Age criterion: There is no age limit for applying for admission to the PG Diploma courses.
Educational Qualification: You should be a graduate of a recognized University, and have a minimum of 50% marks (45% for students of reserved categories) in the qualifying graduation exam. If you have pursued a 5-year integrated Degree Course, then also you can apply for the PG Diploma course (this is applicable only for students of the Fourth and Fifth Year of the integrated course).
