The article has provided an exhaustive information about these scholarships meant for low income groups. It is a great initiative by Reliance Foundation to offer such financial help to the students from the low income group strata of the society and will help many needy and deserving students.
The good thing is that it is meant for the all the students of our country irrespective of the location of the higher educational institute wherever they are studying. So this will help even the students who are studying in the institutions located in remote places.
The element of aptitude test makes it more interesting and challenging and will help in selecting the needy as well as meritorious students.

There are many scholarships these days for students. Some are given on the basis of merit while some are given on the basis of their caste and some on the economic condition of the parents of the students. Reliance Foundation scholarships are also given to economically backward people but to decide on their merit they are not completely depending on the marks obtained in the qualifying examination. They are separately conducting an aptitude test. The selection will be carried out based on the score obtained in the aptitude test, and academic and personal information of the candidate.
Reliance Foundation is doing good service to poor students by sanctioning these scholarships. The same foundation is giving scholarships to PG students for which announcements may come separately.
