The Centre for Admissions (CFA), Anna University invites applications for admissions to the Bachelor of Vocation (B.Voc) Degree programs for the academic year 2023-24. Admissions will be based on merit, as per the marks scored in the Class 12 exam, considering all the subjects other than languages. Reservation of seats for reserved category and disabled persons category candidates will be as per the State Govt. norms and these are only for Tamil Nadu native candidates.

There are two B.Voc. programs-
The Bachelor of Vocation (B.Voc) Degree program in Logistics Management offered at the University College of Engineering (UCEK), Kancheepuram
and
The Bachelor of Vocation (B.Voc) Degree program in Footwear Manufacturing offered at the University College of Engineering, Arni
Both the B.Voc. programs are of 3 years duration, across six semesters, with the focus on developing a skill set in the relevant fields associated with the specific course. In each, you will be having theory courses, including a component on communication skills, and lab courses conducted either at the college or at a factory. The curriculum has been designed in collaboration with the sector skill council, with the council also making provision for on-the-job training and evaluation of the skill components.
Career scope: On graduating from the B.Voc. course in Footwear Manufacturing, you can get employment opportunities as a product developer or product designer, while the B.Voc. course in Logistics Management gives opportunities for those seeking a career in the field of logistics operations. Consultancy, teaching, and entrepreneurship are also a few of the other career paths that one can take up with either of the B.Voc. Degree qualifications. Eligibility requirements
Only Indian nationals can apply. Note that those who are native candidates of the State of but have passed any of the VIII, IX, X, XI, and XII Std. or the equivalent exam from schools that are not within Tamil Nadu are required to submit a Nativity Certificate (it should be a digitally signed e-Certificate). Refer to the official notification for details on who all are required to submit the Nativity certificate, the employer certificate if applicable, etc.
Educational Qualification: You should have passed the HSC exam of any stream, which could be of the 10+2 curriculum or its equivalent, or of the vocational stream.Anna University B.Voc. programs Application Procedure
Admission to both the B.Voc. Degree programs should be done online after opening an account at https://admissions.annauniv.edu/bvoc2023/login.php
The documents required to be uploaded while filling in the online application are as follows (other than the photo, all documents should be in PDF format only)-
Registration fee The registration fee should also be paid in online mode. The fee is Rs. 500/-(+18% GST) for OC/BC/BCM/MBC/DNC and Rs. 250/- (+18% GST) for SC/SCA/ST candidates belonging to Tamil Nadu.
Important dates
The online registration for applications for admission will begin on 1st October 2023.
The online payment of the registration fee and uploading of relevant documents can be done from 3rd October 2023.
The last date for registration and submission of online applications for admission is 30th October 2023.Counselling process
If your name appears on the merit list of candidates eligible for admission to the Anna University B.Voc. programs, you will be informed by email to participate in the online counseling, scheduled in November 2023. At the time of the counselling and choice-filling, you have to pay a Non-Refundable Counseling Fee of Rs.150/- (+18% GST) if you are applying in the for SC, SCA, or ST category, and Rs.300/- (+18% GST) if you are applying in any other category.
