Development Management Institute (DMI), Patna, an autonomous institute set up by the State Govt. of Bihar, invites applications for admission to the Post Graduate Diploma in Management (Development Management) for the academic years 2024 to 2026.

The Post Graduate Diploma in Management (Development Management) is a two-year program approved by the All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE) with 60 seats. Seats for reserved categories are available as per the norms of the State Govt. Since it is a full-time residential program, it is mandatory to stay in the hostel.
The PGDM (DM) program incorporates Foundational, Functional, and Integrative courses in management such as finance, HR, marketing, etc. There are three key components- Development Immersion, Enterprise Learning, and Management Internship. The internship segment of the course is 10 weeks, during which you will work on various projects.
Students can avail of up to 100% tuition fee waiver through merit-based scholarships based on academic performance, with at least 50% tuition fee waiver for university toppers of 2021-22, 2022-23, and 2023-24 in any branch/discipline.
On successful completion of the course, placement opportunities at DMI Patna are provided with State Govt. and private organizations, such as the Bihar Rural Development Society, TechnoServe India, Madhya Pradesh State Rural Livelihoods Mission, etc.
PGDM (DM) program Fee structure
The total fee of the PGDM (DM) program is Rs. 6 lakhs. The amount can be paid through term-wise five instalments. A refundable deposit of Rs. 10,000 /- is also to be paid as caution money, along with the subsidized hostel fee and Rs. 1,500/- towards the hostel maintenance fee. There will be additional charges for food as well.PGDM (DM) program Eligibility Criteria
Educational Qualifications: You must have a three-year Bachelor's Degree or equivalent in any discipline, with a minimum of 50% marks in the qualifying exam (45% for SC, ST, and differently-abled candidates) in aggregate from a UGC- recognized/AICTE-approved University/institute. You can also apply if you are appearing for the final degree exam but must complete it with the required minimum marks before joining the program.
Management Test Score: You must have a valid score in CAT 2023/XAT 2024/GMAT/CMAT 2024/MAT (Sep. 2023 or after). PGDM (DM) program Application Procedure
You have to submit your application for admission to the PGDM (DM) program after registering with a valid personal email ID and mobile number at the DMI admissions portal.
When applying online, you are required to upload a passport-size photo, information about the ID proof (Aadhaar number/PAN number/Passport/Driving License /Voter Card), and the Management Entrance Exam Score/Percentile. Note that if the results of the management test are awaited, you should choose the option 'result awaited' and submit the application. An email message with a link for updating the score/percentile will be shared with you for updating your application later.
The Application fee (non-refundable) is Rs. 300/- for General category candidates, Rs. 200/- for BC, EBC, EWS, and female candidates, and Rs. 100/- for SC/ST and Differently Abled (DA) candidates. The application fee should be paid online through Internet Banking or with a Debit /Credit card/UPI/QR/Wallet.

In addition to your academic records and the scores obtained in CAT/XAT/GMAT/CMAT/MAT, you will be assessed on your performance in the Group Discussion (GD), writing skills, and a Personal Interview (PI).
