Online applications open for Reliance Foundation 100 Postgraduate Scholarships
Are you looking for a postgraduate scholarship for 2023-24 to study engineering or life science programs in India? Reliance Foundation has opened applications for students enrolled in the first year of a postgraduate course in specified fields. Reliance Foundation has announced applications open for 2023-24 scholarships that offer a Grant award to 100 postgraduate meritorious students from all socio-economic backgrounds. Interested students who are enrolled in the first year of an eligible postgraduate program (see the list mentioned below) in India should apply online by 17th December 2023 and appear for the mandatory Aptitude Test. Note that students pursuing postgraduate degree courses outside India cannot apply for the scholarship.Features of Reliance Foundation PG Scholarships
Through the scholarship, you will not only get funding for the postgraduate program that you are pursuing, but also get wonderful opportunities to interact with eminent people at workshops that are scheduled for your field of study, take up voluntary work or an internship, and be part of an alumni network.
Scholarship Amount: You will receive up to Rs. 6 lakhs over the duration of the degree program. 80% of the funds will be disbursed when each academic year begins. You can utilize these funds towards paying tuition fees and direct academic expenses. For the remaining 20% of the funds, you need to put in a request for it and it will granted for personal and indirect academic expenses towards professional development, such as for attending a conference associated with your academic program. Nationality: You must be a resident Indian citizen.
Personal profile: You should be an individual who pursues excellence in both academic and non-academic fields, and be ready to face challenges tenaciously, with excellent leadership potential. You should be keen to learn and improve for self-growth, as well as work for the general community. Above all, you should possess high levels of integrity and morals, and step up to be accountable for your actions.
Academic profile: You must currently be a first-year postgraduate student with a GATE score of 550 - 1,000. If you have not attempted GATE, but have scored 7.5 or above in the Undergraduate CGPA (or a percentage normalised to CGPA), then also you are eligible to apply.
The postgraduate academic program in which you are enrolled should be any one of these-
Important notes: You cannot apply if you are currently in the second year of the postgraduate program or are completing the course in distance education mode, remotely or online, or through any other kind of non-regular mode. You cannot apply if your GATE Score is less than 550 but have an Undergraduate CGPA of 7.5 or higher. Also, if you are pursuing only Maths, then you cannot apply for a scholarship in the field of Mathematics & Computing. Application procedure
You have to first answer and clear the eligibility criteria questionnaire at https://scholarships.reliancefoundation.org/
You will then receive an email with your login details to complete the online application process.
In addition to providing personal details, such as name, address, etc, and information about your academic/professional qualifications and extra-curricular details, you are required to submit two Letters of Reference. One Letter should attest to your academic abilities, and the other should attest to your character and leadership traits. Also required are a Personal Statement and a Statement of Purpose. You will also be required to upload the required supporting documents as mentioned in the online application.

An online aptitude test is mandatory for all applicants. This test will be for one hour with 60 Multiple Choice Questions (MCQs) to gauge numerical ability, logical ability, analytical ability, and verbal ability.Interview
