Any work we do should be planned and we should go as per the plan. Then only we will know whether we are going in the correct direction or not. The same is the case with teaching. A teacher should plan his lessons. While preparing the plan he should keep the level of the students to whom he is going to teach. How many sessions would be required to complete a particular chapter, where to stop a session and how to start the next session etc should also be planned while making the plan.

During my school days, all our teachers used to write teaching notes. In these notes, they used to write what are the points to be covered in a particular lesson. Some relevant examples would also be mentioned. These examples will make the students understand the lesson well.
