The Indian Institute of Management, Indore has released the notification for the Doctoral Programme in Management (DPM) for the year 2024 for which there are 34 seats. About Institute
The Indian Institute of Management, Indore is a reputed institute established in the year of 1996 by the Ministry of Human Resource Development, Government of India. The Doctoral Programme in Management(DPM) is a residential program that will enable students to learn about the various research methodologies as well as enable them to take up careers in research both in academic and non-academic fields. All DPM students will get a fellowship during their study for four years.

Financial support
The selected students will receive a stipend of Rs 40,000 per month during their coursework. Rs 45,000 will be provided per month after having cleared the area comprehensive exam. The maximum duration during which the stipend would be paid is 57 months (4 years and 9 months).
Along with this, a contingency grant of Rs 25,000 per annum will be provided for four years to support research activities. The Institute also subsidizes the expenses involved in presentations at national and international conferences up to a ceiling of Rs 1.2 lakh for a national conference and Rs 2 lakhs for an international conference. Along with all this, free boarding and lodging will also be available on campus.Eligibility Criteria
Candidates should have master's degrees in any discipline with at least 60 percent aggregate marks or an equivalent grade point average. OR Candidates having a postgraduate diploma (2 years) with at least 60 percent aggregate marks or equivalent grade points are also eligible to apply.

Candidate should have Professional qualifications CA, ICWA, CS (with at least 50 percent aggregate marks) along with a B.Com. Degree (with at least 60 percent aggregate marks) OR the Candidate should have a five-year integrated master's degree program in any discipline, with at least 60 percent aggregate marks or equivalent grade point average can also apply.Reservation of seats
There will be a 15% reservation in seats for SC, 7.5% for ST, and 27% for non-creamy layer OBC candidates. Apart from this, 10% of seats are reserved for EWS (Economically Weaker Section) candidates and 5% for Persons with Disability (PwD) candidates. The candidates who wish to get the reservation category benefit must apply under this category and should produce a relevant category certificate at the time of the interview.Application process
Admission seekers must visit the official website of IIM Indore and read the instructions carefully. Applications are to be submitted online. Candidates will receive a unique application number after application submission. After submission of the online application, candidates must download the computer-generated copy get it printed, and send the signed hard copy along with the application fee submission receipt and other documents to IIM Indore.
Candidates need to pay the online non-refundable/non-transferable application fee of Rs. 3000/- + GST extra. If applying for two areas, you need to pay online a non-refundable/non-transferable fee of Rs. 4500/- + GST Extra. Candidates must submit their application form, along with all required documents, well in advance of the interview date. A candidate who wishes to apply to more than one department must submit a separate application for each.

Selection procedure
Candidates will be shortlisted based on their academic eligibility and acceptable standard test scores. The successful candidates will be shortlisted based on their performance in CAT/ GATE/ GMAT/ GRE/ JAM tests or DMAT. The shortlisted candidates will be called for a personal interview. The final selection will be based on the performance in the interview.Important dates
