IIHMR University Jaipur MBA admissions 2024-26
The Indian Institute of Health Management Research (IIHMR) is a post-graduate university with international collaborations for some of its programs. Other than MBA programs the university offers two Master's programs in Public Health, doctoral programs, and executive programs including online certificate programs. Applications are currently open for the MBA programs for the academic session 2024-26.
On Campus: The spacious campus of IIHMR, Jaipur has lecture halls, an auditorium, a state-of-the-art computer centre, indoor and outdoor sports and recreational facilities including a swimming pool and a clubhouse, etc. The Dr. D.A. Henderson Library and Documentation Centre, which is the first automated library in the State of Rajasthan, is well-stocked with books and digital-based resources with IT facilities. Photocopying and scanning services are available. Workshops and seminars are scheduled here from time to time. Even if you are not a student of the university, you can enroll as a member for one year and avail of the library facilities by submitting the membership enrollment form and paying the requisite fee.
IIHMR Jaipur University offers well-furnished hostel accommodation for boys and girls on the campus and provides accommodation with cubicle rooms and twin-sharing rooms to students on a first-come-first-served basis.
IIHMR Jaipur Placements: Recruiters from prestigious companies, including Cipla, Dabur, P&G, Hexaware, Reliance Foundation, etc have come for campus placements. In preparation for the placement sessions, students receive guidance on preparing their C.V., and mock interviews and group discussions are conducted, along with aptitude tests. Mentoring from alumni is a plus point. Workshops are organized as well for students to get a general understanding of corporate culture.IIHMR Jaipur MBA Programs
MBA in Hospital and Health Management
This full-time 2-year program has Core Courses in the first year (3 terms), and in the second year you need to choose either Hospital Management or Health Management. Elective courses are offered on the basis of the interests of the students and as per the requirements of current industry needs.
MBA Summer training: At the end of the first year of the program, you must undergo an internship of 8 weeks, working on a project with an organization. This will prepare you for making a career choice while helping you to develop competent managerial abilities. Assessment of the internship is done through an evaluation from the institution and a poster presentation.
MBA Dissertation: You must complete a Dissertation in the second year to qualify for the Degree. For this, you need to take up a research area as per your interest, researching on it, collecting data, and critically analyzing it. MBA in Pharmaceutical Management
This full-time 2-year MBA in pharma management has three terms per year. Through this program, you will develop management skills associated specifically with Pharma systems, covering aspects of finance and marketing, diagnostic chains, medical devices companies, etc. Electives, an internship, and a dissertation are the same as for the above program.MBA Development Management
The curriculum of this full-time 2-year program includes financial management, essentials of Economics, Public policy, Governance and Systems Management, etc and electives are offered based on industry needs and students' interests. IIHMR Jaipur MBA Programs Eligibility Criteria
The eligibility requirements of all the MBA programs are common to Indian and international students, namely-
Educational Qualifications: You should be a Graduate in any discipline with a minimum of 50% aggregate marks or equivalent CGPA in the qualifying exam (a minimum of 45% is accepted for students applying in the SC/ST/OBC/EWS/PwD categories). If you are in the final year of the bachelor's degree course, then also you can apply but must submit evidence of meeting the minimum eligibility criteria by September 2024.
Management Aptitude Test Scores: You should have a minimum 50 percentile/qualifying score in CAT/XAT/MAT/NMAT/CMAT/ATMA/GPAT (any of the national-level entrance exams). If you have a score of less than 50 percentile, then you must appear in the aptitude entrance test of the university, namely, IIHMR-UMAT, followed by a Group Discussion (GD) and Personal Interview (PI).IIHMR Jaipur MBA Fees

The application fee (not refundable) is as follows-
On applying till 28th February 2024: Rs. 1000/-.
On applying till 31st May 2024: Rs. 1200/-.
On applying till 31st July 2024 (closing date for applications): Rs. 1500/-.
Registration Fee for IIHMR UMAT exam: Rs. 500 (not refundable). However, there is no fee if there is a rescheduling of the IIHMR-UMAT. There is also no fee for the GD-PI sessions.
Note: You will be permitted to appear for the IIHMR UMAT a maximum of three times, which includes the first attempt in addition to two re-take attempts. A fee of Rs. 500/- must be paid for each re-take of the IIHMRU-UMAT.IIHRM UMAT Format
The aptitude test is of 150 minutes, with 150 questions. One mark is awarded for a correct answer, and no marks will be deducted for a wrong answer. The test structure is as follows-
Section 1 - Language Comprehension: There are 30 questions (30 minutes) that include adjectives, synonyms, active-passive words, etc.
Section 2 - Mathematical Skills: There are 30 questions (40 minutes) based on the CBSE Class 10 level.
Section 3 - Data Analysis: There are 30 questions (35 minutes) that are associated with data interpretation based on Pie charts, graphs, tables, etc.
Section 4 - Intelligence and Critical Reasoning: There are 30 questions (30 minutes) to gauge general intelligence level based on analogies, inferences, etc.
Section 5 - General Awareness: There are 30 questions (15 minutes) from various fields, such as current topics, sports, national policies, etc.IIHMR Jaipur MBA Programs Application Procedure
You have to submit the online application form at the official website and ensure that you register and use the same email ID for all communications with the university, and later stages of the admission process. https://applications.iihmr.edu.in/
Admission Procedure for International Students: Register and submit the online application form at the same website, and send the required documents for verification, such as mark sheets, AIU equivalence certificate, migration certificate, photocopy of the passport, etc (refer to the official website for the full list of documents) by email to internationaladmissions@iihmr.edu.in.
The application fee of Rs. 1000/- has to be paid along with the Academic Fee. You will receive a confirmation of receipt within 48 hours of the submission of the application form (if you do not get this confirmation, then send an email to internationaladmissions@iihmr.edu.in). On verification of eligibility criteria, you will receive a conditional offer letter at your registered email ID. Next, you should pay the prescribed fee as mentioned in the offer letter and submit the receipt mentioning your name, and the course applied for at internationaladmissions@iihmr.edu.in, and once the university confirms the fee has been paid, an acceptance letter (Visa Letter) will be issued which is required to apply for a student visa at the nearest Indian Embassy in your home country.
Important: As an international student, you must register with the Foreigner's Regional Registration Office (FRRO) within 14 days of arrival at IIHMR Jaipur, otherwise, you will have to a penalty fee.
Once you have gone through the personal interview round with verification along with the full fee deposition, and have got the provisional eligibility letter, you are required to submit these documents- the Visa, a no-objection certificate/Equivalence certificate from AIU, fees, and a medical test report to indicate that you do not have any contagious or infectious diseases (a chest X-ray must be attached with this medical report).IIHMR Jaipur MBA Admissions Selection Rounds
On fulfilling the eligibility requirements, you will be invited for a Group Discussion (GD) and Personal Interview (PI). The final selection is done based on the scores in the qualifying exam with a proportional score in CAT/XAT/NMAT/MAT/CMAT/ATMA/IIHMR-U MAT, the Group Discussion (GD), and Personal Interview (PI).
Note- You must bring all the relevant documents in original at the time of the interview. Important dates
The IIHMRU-MAT will be conducted on the first and third 3rd Saturdays of every month starting from November 2023. The next one is scheduled for 6th and 20th January 2024.
Dates of GD and PI of candidates who qualified the IIHMR UMAT or have a valid score in any national-level MBA entrance test: (i) GD offline- 20th January 2024; PI offline- 20th January 2024. (ii) GD online-3rd February 2024; PI online- 5th February 2024.
The last date of admission to the MBA program is 31st July 2024 subject to availability of seats till that date.
The MBA programs will begin in the first week of August 2024.
