The Govt. of India is offering learning internship training programs with a monthly stipend for SC, ST, EWS, and women. These internships will provide an opportunity to enhance professional skills by working on cutting-edge projects that are focused on niche technologies in highly reputed organizations of MeiTY, Govt. of India. These include CDAC, SAMEER, NIELIT, etc.

Duration: You will pursue the internship for six months and hence you must ensure that you will be available for the full duration of the program.
Benefits: The primary benefit is to gain hands-on practical experience working on live national-level/State-level projects. Through this experience, you will not only acquire technical knowledge but develop analytical and problem-solving skills as well. Some of the niche technology areas are Artificial Intelligence (AI), Machine Learning (ML), Internet Of Things (IoT), Cloud Computing, Quantum Computing, Cyber Security, Cyber Forensics, Silicone Photonics, CPU Design, Electronic Packaging, Renewable Energy, etc.
Stipend: Rs. 10,000/- per month at all the organizations.
Points to note: For each of the internship programs, there are a limited number of seats and this varies as per the requirements of the organization at the particular centre where the internship is offered. You need to carefully check the type of learning program that is offered at each so that you take up an internship that would be the most relevant in terms of the career path that you wish to take. For example, in some organizations, you may see an internship to learn cyber security, while you are keen to get skills in cyber forensics as well. Hence, accordingly, you should look for a centre that offers a combination of both during the internship. Eligibility requirements
Only SC, ST, EWS, and women can apply for the internship programs and should have the relevant skills and interest in the specific learning-cum-training program for which they are seeking to do the internship.
Educational Qualification: You need to have a B.E. or a B.Tech. in any discipline and should have passed the qualifying exam in the last two years. If you are an engineering student currently in the 7th or 8th semester, then also you can apply. However, you must submit an N.O.C. (No Objection Certificate) issued by the institute where you are studying before the interview round. Postgraduates with an M.Sc. and MCA-qualified applicants with the qualification obtained in the last two years are also eligible.List of Internship Opportunities
