The Uttar Pradesh Joint Entrance Exam Council has issued an advertisement about JEECUP 2024. IT is a state-level examination for students who are seeking admission to government and private polytechnic institutes in Uttar Pradesh. Interested candidates can apply for the examination of any of the groups, namely Group A, Group B, Group EL 1, Group EL 2, and Group K. Eligibility criteria
He or she should be an Indian citizen.
The candidate should be a resident of Uttar Pradesh who has passed 10th or 12th in any school or college in Uttar Pradesh.
The applicant should have passed 10th or 12th, depending upon the course or any other equivalent examination from any recognized board or university.
The minimum expected score for the student is 35% on any recognized board.
He or she should be at least 14 years old as of July 2024, and a maximum age limit is not prescribed.
Students applying for Group A, Group B, and Group C, i.e., the Diploma in Engineering and Technology, Agricultural Engineering and Fashion Design, Textile Design, and Home Science, should have a 10th pass minimum.
Students applying for Group D (Modern Office Management and Secretarial Practice), Groups E 1 and E2 (Pharmacy), Group F (Postgraduate Diploma in Biotechnology or Tissue Culture), Group I (Aircraft Maintenance), and K1 to K8 (Lateral Entry) should have passed 10 + 2.Selection Procedure and Exam Pattern
The candidates should pass the written test for UP JEE 2024. The paper consists of 100 objective questions. These questions are based on the syllabus for 10th, 11th, and 12th. If the student answers correctly, then he or she is rewarded with 4 marks, and if the answer is incorrect, then 1 mark is deducted. The candidate should complete the examination in 2 1/2 hours. Then find the link to the JEECUP 2024 application.
Then click on 'Fresh candidate registration' to register your name first.
You should enter your credentials to register your name. So submit information such as a valid e-mail, name, etc.
Then the students should use the ID and password to log in.
Then enter the information in the required fields. Upload documents such as photographs, mark sheets for 10th and 12th grade, a PWD certificate if applicable, a caste certificate, etc.
After uploading the documents, proceed with payment. It should be paid online using a credit card, debit card, or net banking. The application fee for candidates in the general category is Rs. 300, and for students in the special category, it is Rs. 200.
Press the option 'Submit' and submit information.
Then take a copy of the printout for future use.
