JEE mains exam 2024 Session - 2 applications open

JEE, popularly known as the Joint Entrance Examination, is held for students to secure admissions to different engineering institutes, including the Indian Institutes of Information Technology. Eligiblity criteria for JEE Mains 2024-Session -2

Candidates should have passed 12th grade in 2022/2023 or should have appeared for intermediate in 2024.
 
If you are appearing for Paper 1 or a B.Tech paper, then you should have studied physics and mathematics in 12th grade as a major subject, as well as biology, chemistry, technical vocational subjects, or biotechnology.

If you are studying architecture and are appearing for Paper 2A,B.Arch or then you should have studied physics, mathematics, and science in 12th grade.

If you are studying planning or appearing for Paper 2B, or B.Plan. then you should have studied mathematics as a major subject in Class 12.

The age limit is not specified.

How to apply for JEE Mains 2024—Session 2?

Visit the official site of the Joint Entrance Examination at JEE Mains.
Then you can find the sliding text "Click Here to Register and Login for Session 2."
On this webpage, you can read the instructions for registration and login.
You can find the option "New Candidate Register Here.".
A new webpage is generated, and the instructions for online submissions of forms are read.
Then use the click option to proceed below after agreeing to the terms.
Again, a new webpage is now generated, and you should select an option about the document you are producing as proof.
Then click on the option 'Login and Identify through Digilocker'.
After submitting documents, proceed with payment.
The application for males who belong to the general category, OBC, or EWS is Rs. 1000; for females, it is Rs. 800. The fee for candidates belonging to the SC/ST/transgender category is Rs. 500.
Then enter the necessary details, including your password, and then submit your account.
Enter your OTP, which is notified to your mobile. 
Then the username and password are generated. Use these credentials next time to log in.
When you log in to your account, fill out the form and upload documents. The documents that are required include 10th and 12th-grade marksheets, Aadhar card details, category certificates, PwD certificates if required, photographs, etc.
Then verify the information and click 'Submit' to submit the information.
Take a printout of the copy for future use.

JEE Mains 2024: Session-2 Exam Pattern

The B.Tech/B.E. paper consists of 90 MCQs, and the maximum expected score of the students is 300. Paper 2A consists of 82 questions for a total of 400 marks. The B.Plan paper consists of 105 MCQs for a total of 400 marks.

The B.Tech/B.E. paper consists of three sections, namely Sections A, B, and C, with three subjects: physics, mathematics, and chemistry.  In Section A, each subject consists of 20 questions, and in Section B, each subject consists of 10 questions. 

The B.Arch and B.Plan consist of four sections. The students should solve 20 MCQs in mathematics, 10 questions of numerical value, 50 questions of aptitude, and 2 questions of drawing.
