ISI-CAL Diploma Courses
PG Diploma in Statistical Methods and Analytics
The PGDSMA course is a 1-year program offered at Chennai and the ISI North-East Centre in Tezpur, with half the seats at the latter reserved for the students domiciled in the North-Eastern States. The curriculum covers the basic theory and applications of statistical methods and analytics, along with some aspects related to Maths and Computer Science. A stipend of Rs.3000/- per month will be offered only for domiciles of the N.E. States of India, with a contingency grant per year of the same amount.
Eligibility: You should either have a 3-year Bachelor's Degree in any discipline with Maths as a subject; or a BE/B Tech degree or any other qualification that is considered equivalent (such as AMIE).
PG Diploma in Agricultural & Rural Management with Statistical Methods and Analytics
The PGDARSMA course is a 1-year program offered at the ISI Giridih campus with no stipend or tuition fee. The course modules include aspects related to agribusiness and farm management, statistical methods, computer operations, etc, and a summer internship at the end of the second semester.
Eligibility: You should have a 3-year or a 4-year Bachelor's Degree in any discipline with Maths/Statistics as a subject studied at least at the (10+2) level.PG Diploma in Business Analytics
The PGDBA course is a 2-year program jointly offered by ISI, IIT Kharagpur and IIM Calcutta. The course will provide you with the opportunity to get hands-on training at a reputed company in the field of business analytics, as well as interaction with industry leaders.

The PGDAS course is an online 1-year program offered by Coursera in which live sessions with faculty will be conducted online every week. While you can directly apply for it at the Coursera website, if you qualify through the admission test of ISI, then will get a tuition waiver. The course will develop statistical and computational skills to make you efficient in managing and interpreting data.
Eligibility: You should have a Graduate degree in any subject and Maths at the (10+2 or equivalent) level.
Registration Fee: INR 20,000/USD 267 (to be paid within 15 days of receiving the admit letter).
Course Fee: INR 450,000/ USD 6,000.Application procedure
You have to register and apply online at the Indian Statistical Institute Kolkata admissions portal, and pay the application fee in online mode.
2024 Application Fee: The fee to apply for all the Diploma programs is the same-
For male applicants who are Indian citizens applying in the General category: Rs.1500/-.
For female applicants who are Indian citizens applying in the General category: Rs. 1000/-.
For applicants who are Indian citizens applying in the SC/ST/OBC-NCL/EWS/Persons with Disabilities (PwD) categories: Rs. 750/-.
For all Overseas Citizens of India: Rs.1500/-.
Important dates
Online applications have opened on 5th March 2024 and will be closed on 26th March 2024 at 11 p.m. (IST).
The Admit Card will be available for download from 26th April 2024 from the Dashboard of your account at the application portal.
