Delhi University is one of the most reputed universities in India, offering different undergraduate and postgraduate courses. It was founded in 1922 by the Act of the Central Legislative Assembly. The student should have passed 12th grade at a recognised university and should score more than or equivalent to 60% as an aggregate in physics, mathematics, and chemistry. Admission to the B.Tech. course at Delhi University is based on the All India Common Rank List of the Joint Entrance Examination. The students should apply for CUET (UG), and the score of CUET is then considered for admission. How do I apply for CUET (UG) 2024-2025?
Visit the official site at CUET and then enter details.
Then you can find the option "New Candidate Register Here". Click on the given link. A new webpage opens that provides information about the instructions for filling out the form. You can download the information bulletin.
As you scroll down, you can find the button 'Click Here to proceed'. Again, a new webpage appears on the screen for login and identification for the online application form. You can choose different options, such as an Aadhar Card, a Digilocker account, an Academic Bank of Credit, etc. Then enter your respective number.
After pressing 'Generate OTP', an OTP number is generated and sent to your mobile. Then, you can use this OTP next time to log in and enter details.
Next, fill in the information provided in the fields. Then upload the documents as required, such as ID proof, address proof, category certificate, and PwD certificate.
Next, proceed with payment of the application fee. The fee for candidates in the general category is Rs. 1000; OBC-NCL-Rs. 900; SC/ST-Rs. 800.
Finally, download the application form and save a hard copy of the printout. CUET Exam Pattern
The students should choose 4 to 5 domain subjects out of 27; one or two languages out of 33; and the general test is compulsory. So, the candidates should appear for six test papers.
The students should choose 40 questions out of 50 for the test papers and 50 questions out of 60 for the general test. The paper comprises four sections, namely 1A, 1B, Section II, and Section III. Each question carries 5 marks, and 1 mark is deducted for every wrong answer.
Sections 1A and 1B consist of reading and comprehension, vocabulary questions, synonyms, antonyms, etc. Section II comprises MCQ questions based on the syllabus for 12th grade. Section III consists of numerical aptitude, logical and analytical reasoning, current affairs, general knowledge, and general mental ability.Important Dates of the CUET Exam 2024-2025
