Telangana State Integrated Common Entrance Test -2024

Telangana State-ICET (Integrated Common Entrance Test) is a common entrance test held for the students to secure admission to MBA or MCA colleges in Telangana State for the academic year 2024-2025. The test is conducted by Kakatiya University, Warangal, on behalf of Telangana State Council of Higher Education. Eligibility criteria
For MBA
The candidate should have passed a three-year bachelor's degree, such as a B.Com, B.Sc., BBA, BBM, BCA, BE, or B.Tech., or any 3 or 4 year degree except in oriental languages.For MCA
The candidate should have passed BCA, B.Com., B.Sc., or B.A. with Mathematics at 10 + 2 or graduation level.
If the student has studied through distance learning, then the qualifying degree should be recognized by the Joint Committee of UGC, AICTE, and DEC/DEB, according to UGC regulations.
The candidates should possess a bachelor's degree of a minimum of three years from recognized universities with at least 50% marks. If the candidate belongs to the SC/ST caste, then he or she should have scored at least 45% marks at the graduation level.Application fee
Candidates belonging to the general category should pay Rs. 750 and the candidates belonging to the special category should pay Rs.550. Scroll down, and you can find a section named 'application'.
The first step in registration is paying the prescribed fee. So, click on 'Application Fee Payment'.
Then read the instructions and move further by clicking 'continue'.
You can find a new web page opening. Start filling out the form. Enter the details such as name, date of birth, mobile number, e-mail ID, exam date, and hall number.
After filling out these details, click on 'proceed for payment' to pay the application fee.
After making the payment, check the payment status in the section of 'application'.
Upload documents of ID proof, address proof, mark sheets for 10th and 12th grades, degree and school-leaving certificates, etc., including signatures and photographs.
Then submit the application form.Exam Pattern of TS ICET 2024
It is an online test with 200 marks. The students should solve 200 MCQ questions from sections such as analytical ability, communication ability, and numerical ability. Each question carries one mark, and marks are not deducted for an incorrect answer. The candidate should complete the test within 2 hours and 30 minutes. The medium of the exam is English and Telugu.
The topics for analytical ability are problem-solving and data sufficiency. In the numerical ability section, the topics include statistical ability, arithmetic ability, geometrical ability, and algebraic ability. You should also prepare for questions on business and computer terminology, vocabulary, reading comprehension, grammar, etc for the third section. Important dates
Date of commencement of application: March 5, 2024
The last date to submit the form without penalty is April 30, 2024.
The last date to submit the form with a penalty of Rs. 250 is May 17, 2024.
The last date to complete registration with a penalty of Rs. 500 is May 27, 2024.
