"Life's Good" Scholarship Program 2024
Initiated by LG Electronics India Pvt Ltd, the Life's Good Scholarship Program 2024 supports providing financial aid to deserving economically poor students. The candidates studying UG/PG courses from the selected institutions will be given a scholarship for a year to continue their higher education. As per Schedule VII of the Companies Act 2013, this scholarship program for collegegoers has incorporated focusing on quality and equality in education, giving priority to meritorious and female candidates whose annual family income should not be more than INR eight lakhs. Hence, it also aims to promote women's empowerment giving preference to deserving female students. Applications for this scholarship program will be approved in four phases. The list of the colleges for Phase 1 is given on the buddy4study website and details regarding Phases 2, 3, and 4 will be updated later.
Key Features of the "Life's Good" Scholarship Program 2024
Scholarships will be provided based on the below-mentioned categories.
Students enrolled in premier institutions like IIT, IIM, NIT, AIIMS, etc., will receive INR 100,000 for one year.
Students from institutions with an overall strength above 2000 will be awarded INR 50,000 a year.
Students from institutions with an overall strength of below 1000 will be awarded INR 30,000 for a year.
The selected applicants can utilize their scholarship funds for their academic pursuits, which include exam fees, tuition fees, hostel fees, books, travel expenses, data plans, laptop/tablet purchases, etc.
The last date to apply for the scholarship is May 23, 2024.
Eligibility to apply for the Scholarship
Students, who pursue UG/PG courses of any academic year from the listed colleges/institutions across the country are eligible to apply for the Life's Good Scholarship Program 2024.
Applicants studying in the first year should have a minimum of 60% marks in class XII examinations and students studying in the second, third, and fourth years should have a score of a minimum of 60% marks in the previous academic year.
Children of employees of LG Electronics India Pvt Ltd and buddy4study are ineligible to apply for the scholarship.

Aadhar Card or any other proof of address
Family Income proof such as salary slip of the parent, ITR statement, BPL/Ration card, income proof certificate duly signed by Tahsildar/BDP (for students from rural areas), signed and stamped letter or certificate from Gram Panchayat
College/School ID card, academic fees receipt for admission proof
Bonafide certificate from the institution
Bank account details of the applicant or a parent
Selection Process
Scholarship aspirants need to fill up the online application form, provide information about personal, and educational details, and upload required documents and photographs.
Based on their academic performance and the annual income of the family, the applicants will be shortlisted on a rolling basis.
Shortlisted applicants will be called for an interview by telephone.
Selected candidates need to go through the onboarding process, which includes verification of documents for eligibility.
Lastly, scholarship funds will be transferred to their bank accounts.
