E-Kalyan Jharkhand Post Matric Scholarships 2023-2024

Then you can apply for E-Kalyan Post Matric Jharkhand scholarship for the academic year 2024-2025. So, in this article, I am discussing about different aspects such as eligibility criteria, application procedure, and some important information.

The government of Jharkhand is offering scholarships to students after 10th grade belonging to the SC, ST, and OBC categories for the years 2023–2024. The scholarship is issued by the Department of Scheduled Tribe, Scheduled Caste, Minority, and Backward Class Welfare, Govt. of Jharkhand. 

Eligibility criteria

i. The candidate should belong to Jharkhand State. 

ii. He or she should belong to the SC/ST or OBC category.

iii. The parental income should not exceed Rs. 2,50,000.

iv. The students should be studying the following courses as mentioned below: Group 1 A, Group 1 B, Group 1 C, Group 2 A, Group 2 B, Group 2 C, Group 3, and Group 4.  

Group 1

Group 1 includes high-grade professional courses such as medicine, technology, architecture, management, law, ICWA, CA, , etc.

Group 1 A: Bachelor's or Post-graduate degree from institutions or universities with A++, A+, or B++ NAAC accreditation.

Group 1 B : Bachelor's or postgraduate degree from institutions or universities with B+ or NAAC accreditation.

Group 1 C : Graduate or post-graduate degree from institutions or universities with C and D NAAC accreditation and even non-NAAC accreditation.

Group 2

Group 2 includes courses such as paramedicine, hospitality, commercial art, nutrition or dietician, or any other courses for which entrance qualification is a minimum.

Group 2 A : Vocational courses leading to graduation, diploma, or certificate courses with A++, A+, and B++ NAAC-accredited colleges or institutions.

Group 2 B : Vocational courses leading to graduation, diploma, or certificate courses with B+ or NAAC-accredited colleges or institutions.

Group 2 C: Vocational courses leading to certificates, diplomas, or degree courses in C and D NAAC-accredited and non-NAAC-accredited.
Group 3: Graduate and Post-Graduate Courses such as B.Sc., B.Com ., B.A. or M.Sc, M.A., or M.Com.

Group 4: All courses after 10th, but not degree courses that include XI, XII, ITI, or 3-year diploma courses.

How to apply for the Post-Matric Jharkhand Scholarship 2023-2024?

The students should visit the official site at E-Kalyan .

Then click on the option "Registration," and a new webpage is opened. 

Fill in the details, such as the Aadhar number, student name, date of birth, gender, and mobile number, and then use the option 'Verify Aadhar details'.

Your Aadhar details are then verified, and a user ID and password are generated and sent to your mobile or email.

Then, use these credentials to log in, including the captcha code.

Go to the 'Student Dashboard' to fill in important details such as college, academics, personal, bank account details, etc.

Upload documents such as caste certificate, income certificate, residence certificate, bona fide certificate, previous marksheet, bank passbook, application form scan copy, etc. 

After verifying the details, click Submit to submit the information.

Then take a copy of the printout to save it for future use.

Scholarship benefits

For Group 1 A: Rs. 1,00,000 for hostel students; Rs. 90,000 for day scholars.
Group 1 B: Rs. 90,000 for hostel students; Rs. 85,0000 for day scholars
Group 1 C: Rs. 85,000 for hostel students; Rs. 80,000 for day scholars
Group 2 A: Rs. 75,000 for hostel students; Rs. 70,000 for day scholars
Group 2 B: Rs. 70,000 for hostel students; Rs. 65,000 for day scholars
Group 2 C: Rs. 65,000 for hostel students; Rs. 60,000 for day scholars
Group 3: Rs. 45,000 for hostel students; Rs. 40,000 for day scholars
Group 4: Rs. 35,000 for hostel students; Rs. 30,000 for day scholars

Important dates

Last date to apply for Post-Matric Jharkhand Scholarship 2023-2024: May 25, 2024 (an earlier last date announced as April 30, 2024, but now extended)
