Bharatiya Vidyapeeth Deemed University CET schedule for M. Tech. Admissions 2024-2025


Are you seeking admission to M.Tech. courses in Bharatiya Vidyapeeth University, Pune? Then you should appear for the Common Entrance Test. This article gives details of the eligibility criteria, schedule of the CET, procedure of application etc.

Bharatiya Vidyapeeth is a deemed university in Pune, with A+ NAAC accreditation in 2017. It provides various UG, PG, UG and PG diplomas, Ph.D., Fellowships, certificate courses, and short-term, distance, and online programmes to students. Some of the special features of this university are placement assistance, practical-oriented teaching and learning, internships and interactions, and a multi-cultural learning environment. You can apply for M.Tech for this academic year (2024-2025). The students should appear for the CET examination. Students can choose different courses for M.Tech such as chemical engineering, mechanical engineering, electronics, computer science, nanotechnology, etc. It is a 2-year course divided into four semesters.

Eligibility Criteria

The candidate should complete a B.Tech. or B.E. in the relevant field from an approved AICTE university. They may also complete an equivalent course at AMIE with a valid GATE score.

If you are applying for an M.Tech. in chemical engineering, then you should have passed a BE or B.Tech . degree in chemical engineering.

To apply for an M.Tech. in mechanical engineering, you should have completed a B.E. or B.Tech. in mechanical or production engineering. 

If you are applying for an M.Tech. in Electronics, then you should complete a BE or B.Tech. degree in electronics, electronics and telecommunications, or industrial electronics.

If you are applying for an M.Tech in Computer Science, then you should complete a B.Tech or B.E. in computer science or information technology, industrial electronics, or electronic engineering.

The candidates should pass the CET examination conducted by the Bharatiya Vidyapeeth University.

How to apply for BVDU-CET 2024-2025

Visit the official site at BVDU-CET

Then on the screen, at the right-hand corner on top, you can find the option Login/Register.

To register your name, enter your e-mail ID and password, and the Captcha. 

Then, an OTP is sent to your email ID. Enter the OTP number within the specified time.

A new webpage is opened, and you should enter your first name, middle name, last name, mobile number, and password. 

Then another OTP is sent to your email ID. After entering this OTP, the user name and ID are generated by the system and sent to your account. So, enter these credentials to log in to your account. Enter the necessary details and upload your documents of ID proof, mark sheets of 10th, 12th, degree, B.Tech or B.E., domicile certificate, etc.

Then pay an application fee of Rs. 1700 through a credit card, debit card, net banking, etc.

Submit the information and save a copy of the printout for future use.

Documents to bring to the examination centre

1. Admit Card printed copy
2. Authorised photo ID that is original, non-expired, and valid, such as an Aadhar card, driving license, PAN card, or voter's ID.

The last date to apply for CET is June 5, 2024.
Examination date: June 16, 2024
Date of result: June 25, 2024
Date of counselling: July 8,  2024
Date of commencement of college: July 25, 2024
