Are you looking for admission to Class 11 in Nashik colleges? Students from Maharashtra and outside the State can apply. Details of the eligibility criteria and the admission schedule have been provided.
The School Education Department, Govt. of Maharashtra, which plays an administrative role in the education of elementary, secondary and higher secondary students in the State, has announced admissions open for Std. XI through the Centralised Admission Process (CAP) for the academic year 2024-25.
It is only through the CAP that you can register and seek admission to colleges in the Mumbai Metropolitan Region (MMR) area) in Mumbai, Thane, Raigad districts, Pune, and Pimpri-Chinchwad Municipal Corporation areas, and colleges in the areas of the Nagpur, Amravati, and Nashik Municipal Corporations. The admission process applies to all the recognized Junior Colleges which are affiliated with the Maharashtra State Board, and admission to these colleges will not be given outside of the CAP online process.
A quick synopsis: The online CAP has three regular rounds and two special rounds. Admissions will not be on a FCFS (first-come-first-serve) basis this year, and the admission processes for the various quotas (in-house, minority, admin quotas) will be done simultaneously. Reserved quota seats can also be secured directly with the college.2024 CAP for FYJC admissions Eligibility criteria
You should have passed the Class 10 exam (SSC) or any recognized equivalent exam with English as one of the subjects. Furthermore, admission will be given based on the marks scored in the Class 10 exam, hence it is advisable to check the official website to know the minimum passing marks for specific subjects/streams. Another determining factor in admission is the number of seats available in the college. Reservation of seats will be as per Govt. norms. Mumbai 2024 FYJC College admissions procedure
