Maharashtra National Law University's Centre for Law and Management has released the admission notification for the 2-year full-time Postgraduate Master of Business Administration (MBA) program with a specialization in Corporate Finance, Banking & Law for the academic sessions 2024-26. The course aims to equip you with both, legal expertise, and business management.

There are 50 seats for the Postgraduate Master of Business Administration (MBA) program and a graduate from any discipline can apply for admission, with no age bar.
Course curriculum: The Postgraduate Master of Business Administration (MBA) program is an amalgamation of corporate business, taxation, management, and international trade and law.
In the first semester of the program, you will be introduced to the concepts of management and business practices, legal aspects of banking, accounting, taxation, etc.
In the second semester, you will learn aspects of HR management, research methodologies, international business, business ethics, etc. It is in this semester that you have to pursue a summer internship.
The third semester covers more detailed features of corporate and international finance and law , retail banking, foreign exchange management, portfolio management, etc. You will also work on project appraisal and pursue an Elective in finance.
The fourth and final semester focuses on the key areas of taxes, entrepreneurship and innovation, financial modeling, and data security and cyber risks. At the end of the semester, you will be submitting a Dissertation/Project.Fees
On getting admission, you have to pay a security deposit of Rs. 10,000/- along with the admission fee. The security deposit is refundable, and you will get it back on completing the 2-year program after deductions, if any.
Course Fees: The fee for the Postgraduate Master of Business Administration (MBA) program is Rs. 5,00,000/-. This fee includes the admission fee, the tuition fee, and the library fee. You have to pay additional fees for hostel accommodation. The program fee can be paid in installments of Rs. 1,25,000/- for each of the four semesters. In case you decide not to pursue the program after paying the first installment, you will get a refund, but with Rs. 2500/- deducted. However, you must inform the university in writing or by email within 10 days of the payment of the first installment. After 10 days of the payment, you will not get any refund.
Application fee: At the time of filling in the online application form, you have to pay an application fee of Rs.2000/-.
Eligibility Criteria
Age criterion: There are no age eligibility criteria to apply for the program.
Educational Qualification: You should have a Graduate Degree in any discipline from a UGC-recognized university with a minimum of 50% or its equivalent grade in the qualifying exam (a minimum of 45% or its equivalent grade for SC and ST candidates). If you have appeared for the qualifying exam in May or June 2024 and obtained the qualifying marks, then also you are eligible to apply.
Management Exam Scores: Preference will be given to applicants who have a valid score in any of the national level exams, such as the Graduate Management Admission Test (GMAT), Common Admission Test (CAT), Xavier Aptitude Test (XAT), Management Aptitude Test (MAT), Common Management Admission Test (CMAT), Maharashtra Common Entrance Test (MHCET), etc.How to apply
