OJEE 2024 Counselling Schedule for B.Tech, B.Arch. B.Plan, B.Cat., Int. M.Sc. programs

The Odisha Joint Entrance Examination (OJEE) Committee is the regulatory authority that conducts the common entrance exams for admission to undergraduate and postgraduate professional courses to colleges and institutions in the State of Odisha. On 5th July, OJEE announced the tentative schedule for the e-counselling process for some of the UG and PG programs offered at the various recognized colleges/institutions in the State.
Why OJEE: The purpose of the e-counselling process is to help you select the college and course based on your JEE-MAIN/OJEE ranks (whichever is applicable). You are required to check the official website to understand the process and also check for updates, if any, in the schedule. There are three rounds of activities before the fourth and final round.
The OJEE Counselling schedule given below is for these courses-OJEE-2024 Counselling Schedule
First round of Counselling
On 8th July 2024, from 11 a.m. onward, you can register and fill in the choice of the course.
On 18th July 2024, at 5 p.m. the Mock Seat Allotment-1 will be displayed based on the choices filled in by all candidates as of 16th July 2024, 5 p.m.
On 19th July 2024 at 11.30 a.m. the choice lock facility will be activated, enabling you to use it by logging in with your password. This facility will be closed on 20th July 2024 at 11.59 p.m.
The reconciliation of data, verification, and validation of allocated seats will be done on the 21st and 22nd of July 2024 by 5 p.m.
The Display of Allotment: Round – 1 will be done on 23rd July 2024 by 5 p.m.
Second Round of Counselling
On 23rd July 2024 will begin the online reporting process, which includes (i) payment of the fee; (ii) uploading of required documents; (iii) responding to any query put to you, if required, (Round 1); (iv) exercise the freeze/float option. This process will close on 28th July 2024 by 11.59 p.m.
29th July 2024 by 5 p.m. is the last day to respond to a query (Round 1), if required.
You can choose to withdraw your seat/exit from the seat allocation process from 24th July 2024 to 30th July 2024 by 5 p.m.
From 24th July 2024 up to 30th July 2024 by 5 p.m. you can modify your choices if you so wish, if you have not been allotted any seat in Round-1 or the allotment has been cancelled. That is, if you have not been allotted any seat after the first round or the allotment was cancelled and you are still eligible for the subsequent round, then you may modify your choices by giving consent.
From 30th July to 31st July 2024, the reconciliation of data, verification, and validation of allocated seats will be done.
The display of Allotment Round - 2 (the up-gradation round) will be put up on 2nd August 2024 by 5 p.m.
From 2nd August 2024 up to 6th August 2024 by 5 p.m. you have to complete the process of the payment of the Part Admission-cum-Seat Confirmation, upload the required documents, and exercise the Freeze/Float option. This process is only for those who are the newly allotted candidates of Round 2.Third Round of Counselling
You can choose to withdraw your seat/exit from the seat allocation process from 2nd August 2024 up to 7th August by 5 p.m.
The last day to respond to a query (Round 2) is 7th August 2024 by 5 p.m.
The registration for 2nd OJEE/Special OJEE B. TECH rank holders/JEE main rank holders not registered earlier will be done from 2nd August up to 9th August 2024 by 11.59 p.m. Note that the allotment to the 2nd OJEE/Special OJEE candidates will be done only from the vacant seats. Hence, if you are one of these candidates, you must take care while filling the choice.
If you have not been allotted any seat in the second round or the allotment has been cancelled, then you can modify your choices, if you wish, from 2nd August up to 9th August 2024 by 11.59 p.m. That is, if you have not been allotted any seat after the first round or the allotment was cancelled and you are still eligible for the subsequent round, then you may modify your choices by giving consent.
The reconciliation of data, verification, and validation of allocated seats will be done on the 8th and 9th of August 2024.
Round 3 Allotment is scheduled for 12th August 2024 by 5 p.m.Final Round of Counselling
The fee payment for the Part Admission-cum-Seat Confirmation and uploading of required documents for newly allotted candidates should be done from 12th to 15th August 2024.
The last day to respond to a query if any (Round-3) is 16th August 2024 by 5 p.m.
The withdrawal of seats/exit from the seat allocation process can be done from 12th August up to 16th August 2024 by 5 p.m.
The Final Allotment is scheduled for 18th August 2024.
The fee payment for the Part Admission-cum-Seat Confirmation and the uploading of the required documents for the newly allotted candidates can be done from the 18th to the 20th of August 2024. Note that only if you are one of the newly allotted candidates, you will be able to download the final allotment letter after completing fee payment and document verification.
All candidates who have got an allotted seat must report to the college/institution from 20th August 2024 onwards.Contact information
