Invited applications on the prescribed forms from Indian Nationals for appointment to the posts Junior Judicial Assistants / Restorers

No. of Vacancies :

33 posts + 80 likely vacancy to arise in 2009 (15% posts shall be reserved for SC, 7.5% for ST , 27% for OBC and 3% for PH candidates),

Pay Band :

Rs.5200-20200/- Grade pay Rs.2800,

Qualification :

Graduate from a recognised University and having minimum speed of 40 WPM in english Typing on Computer.,

Age :

18-27 as on 01/01/2009. Age relaxation to SC/ST candidates by 5 years and 3 years to OBC candidates and 10 years to PH candidates.

Selection Procedure :

Eligible candidates will be required to appear in a written test on 22/02/2009 of two hours based on Multiple Choice question pattern consisting of Language Comprehension / General Awareness / General Mathematics / Reasoning Ability. Those who qualify written test shall be required to appear in comprehension / essay writing and type-writing test and interview. Candidates with knowledge of operating computer would be given weightage.

Application Form :

Application Form can be obtained personally on payment of Rs.200/- for General & OBC Category (Rs.100/- for SC/ST/PH candidates) on any working day from 06/01/2009 to 21/01/2009 from the Filing Counter of Delhi High Court or by sending at his/her own risk, a self addresse envelope of 32cm x 25cm size with postage stamp of Rs.60/- affixed on it alongwith DD of above stated amount in faovour of Registrar General, Delhi High Court payable at New Delhi.

Procedure to Apply :

Application on prescribed form duly filled in with two recent passport size photographs duly attested by a Gazetted Officer alongwith attested copies of relevant testimonials can be submitted at the Filing Counter of Delhi High Court on or before 24/01/2009 . Application can also be submitted by Registered A.D. post to Joint Registrar (Estt.), High Court of Delhi, Shershah Road, New Delhi - 110003 in the envelope provided.
