My HR Interview with Keane, Chennai

I have cleared my technical interview on 26.09.08 and given appointment on 06.10.08, 4.00 pm IST for my HR interview, as I cleared my technical interview. The appointment was made from Bangalore office.

They have instructed me to be there before 30 minutes, for registration purpose
before the scheduled time. Of course, I was there by 3.00 pm (almost an hour earlier) and reported to the help-desk.

I was made seated inside the secure zone (Without any ID card holder, I cannot move out even to drink water or to restroom). After one hour, I just peeped out to remind the help-desk. Till 4.30 pm, there is no response. So, I came back to the help-desk again. They suggested me to move to the block-II. There again, I need to wait for one more hour. It was 5.30 pm, as the usual office hours getting over, everyone started leaving.

Suddenly, I got a call from Bangalore office. He asked me that, why I have not reported to Chennai office. To that I replied with the fact. He felt sorry and told to be patient for few more minutes.

Nothing happen till 6.30 pm. Again the call from Bangalore to confirm whether I have been attended or not. I confirmed them that nobody attended me. After then at 6.45 pm two official came and collected some data about technical interview and my personal profile. At last, I have been guided to Block-III, which is about 500 meter away from the Block-II for my HR interview.

The interview last for about 15 min. The interview was very simple, with questions like,
* Why you left earlier job?
* What do you know about Keane International?
* Who referred you?
* What was your last drawn salary?

and some personal questions. With that my interview completed. I was advised by the interviewer to contact HR people after 2 days. When I contacted, they told that they are in process.

But till 3.12.08, I had not received a mail from them. Later I got a mail saying that, there is a lay-off in their company due to economic slow down and hence my results are kept held and assuring me to call back once the problem is solved. But till date, have not received a call.
