Kullu valley once was named as Kulanthpitha, is located in the beutiful himalayas surround by mountains from all sides. The valley lies along with beas river. It is the largest and the most varied constituency in lower house of parliament.

So lets get started now.
The place lies at a distance of 215 km from chandigarh. You may hire a taxi or bus from there.The valley is located on NH21 highway.

Your journey will be smooth and fun. After reaching mandi, 70 km's back from kullu you will enter the beutiful scenic views of mountains with the river beas flowing by the side of your road.You will encounter a beautiful damn on your way from mandi to kullu. And dont forget to see the temple just before OUT.Out is a place between mandi and kullu. After the temple you will be guided to a splendid tunnel 3 km long, longest indian tunnel. You will cherish it. Afer driving 30min from out you will reach bhunter airport 12km away from kullu.Here you can book your tickets if you wanna directly fly off to delhi, chandigarh or even goa.

At kullu you will find various hotels to live at. Hotel shobla lies in the center of kullu at dhalpur. The hotel is nice and calm.
Now lets come to the destinations you can visit from here.

Bijli Mahadev temple-This place lies on top of the mountain at 40km away from kullu. The place has beautiful scenery of tree line. Most important you will see a shivling made of butter which is considered as very sacred.
Prashar lake- This is another beautiful spot which you will just love to see it.its height is astonishing 2730 M/8000 ft. Ever seen a lake at this height??no. then do visit it at 40km away from mandi lieing in kullu district.
Manikaran-This place is visited alot by punjabi.It has a beautiful gurudwara.Its a place of HOT spot.Natural geyser.You will love to have the food here.guess what ??how is the food cooked here???Its cooked by in the superheated water which comes from below the surface of earth.
Vashist-This place is awsome in temples and the traditions over here.it lies at a distance of 43km from kullu.
Nagar-Ever wanted to see beautiful apples to grow in orchards.here is the place for you.Do visit the beautiful orchards and scenic road and hill.it lies at 25km away from kullu.
Manali-Well what to say about this place.Its the queen of resorts. people die to come here.it looks gorgeus covered ins snow.
Furthermore after manali at a distance of 40km you can goto places at MARHI(this is where Hindi movies are mostly shooted), Rohtang TOP(this place is covered in snow) its the mountain peak and its very challenging to reach here.
