My Interview experience for Accenture
This article describes about my experience in an interview with Accenture in Davangere.
Hi everyone,
I m a engineering student from SDM college of Engineering, dharwad, belonging to E&C branch. It was the season of interviews in the month of august. On 12th August night after a hectic interview for one company, it was a accenture aptitude round next morning. It was in BIET Davangere, and our college bus was ready for the pick up early in the morning.
We reached Davangere, we wrote the aptitude test which was so well organised that, it was the first aptitude test in my life in which they gave out the roll numbers for each and every student, specific benches according to the roll number for writing the test. I felt as if I was writingsome kind of University exams. The aptitude test was so easy , it all consisted that I had prepared for. Accenture truly tests on english, and those who are really strong in english have no worries in clearing the test, the rest was the general aptitude, speed ,rail, age, and simple maths related questions. We finished our exams and returned back to our city.
The next week was the result of the aptitude test. We were really nervous about it, i was on the other side quiet confident of clearing the test. And the results were finally announced on the website they had given, and I had cleared the test for the further rounds of interview.
The next rounds of interviews were GD, HR and the Technical Interviews. Firstly we had the documents checking in which it was a strict 60% in rule, there after they gave out a nice PPT for an hour. Next the GD's started in batches. And for our batch the interviewer or HR was really cool. She cleared us that she will be looking our only for those who talk actively. Accordingly she gave out the topic for discussion as " should there be dress code even after schooling" for which i talked against, and gave out so many valued points.During GD i was so nervous that i was shaking my legs, chair, which is not to be done and i advise it not to do.These things are watched by the HR people. I cleared the GD, next was the HR interview.
The HR was really a wonderful interview, it lasted for about 15 minutes. Firstly the HR asked me about myself. Next she asked me about my role model for which i answered as my father as my role model and gave valid reasons, next she asked me what i do in the free time?, i told that i do practice programs in the labs for which she became quiet impressed.Next she asked about my willingness to work anywhere, i agreed. She asked me to name 3 Indian IT companies and i named. That was the interview and which i cleared and only technical round was left.
In technical round he just asked me to write a simple c program any one which i know, i wrote a program for to recognize a number as odd or even, he asked me for the architecture of the microprocessor 8085, i explained him neatly he was impressed. I asked him about the results then and there itself, he said i got through, this moment was the best in my life, it was the first company of my life. I thanked him and next i was busy calling my parents and everyone. They gave out the offer letters that night. That night is unforgettable. ALL THE BEST
Thanks & Regards

The interview was conducted at BIET davangere, I had got through the written test, next was the GD. But before that we got our documents and marks cards checked. Our GD got underway at afternoon 2:30pm, the topic was "should the uniform code be present after schooling". I got through GD round, next was the HR round, in which the HR asked me about the family,my idol, reason for it, my free time work. I think i impressed her in this round.
The last round was the tech round in which, i was asked about a simple c program to write and to explain the microprocessor architecture. I got the result of interview there itself, I was happy a lot. There after we were given the offer letters by around 10:30 pm in night. The happiest night of my life.
