Entrance test on ayurveda




The National Institute Ayurveda, Jaipur, has invited applications for an entrance test for admission to the three-year PG course of Ayurveda Vachaspati (MD/MS Ayurveda).

The entrance test will be conducted on August 5 in Jaipur. Intake – 55 seats.

Entry qualification is a recognised BAMS/ equivalent degree and students must have completed six or twelve month rotatatory internship / house job after passing the degree by August 4.

Applications forms and other details can be downloaded from the website www.nia.nic.in from May 28 onwards.

Completed application forms along with attested copies of all relevant certificates, etc. with a demand draft for Rs.1,000 (Rs.700 for SC/ ST) should be send to the director of the institute latest by July 5, 5 p.m.

The students admitted for the course will get a monthly stipend of Rs.7,000 in the first year and Rs.7,500 in the second year and Rs.8,000 in the third year plus DA during the course of study.

Besides MD/MS Ayurveda, research fellowship facilities are also available in the following subjects to undertake advanced study in Ayurveda: Dravya Guna Vigyan, Kaya Chikitsa, Kaumar Bhritya, Panchakarma, Rasashastra & Bhaishajya Kalpana, Roga and Vikriti Vigyan, Samhita, Shalya Tantra, Sharira Kriya.

Two seats are available in each speciality.
