It has brought a revolution in the Indian economy. It has saved the economy of our country from going to dogs. Actually Liberalization means reducing unnecessary restrictions and controls on business units imposed by the government.
It has promoted globalization which has high lightened India in global scenario. As a result there has been a huge inflow of foreign investment etc. after liberalization foreign exchange reserves have raised due to inflow of foreign investment and increase in exports.
This has solved the problems of foreign exchange crisis which gripped our nation in 1990.s. It has even solved the problem of unemployment and inflation up to great extent.
As a result of liberalization, many domestic and foreign enterprises have started business operations in India which have promoted healthy competition. MNC's have increased, due to which, supply of goods also has increased. This has result a decrease in prices.
