Devineni Venkata Ramana & Dr. Hima Sekhar MIC College of Technology was established in the year 2002.This college is also popularly known as MIC College or DVR & Dr. HS MIC College.MIC College has been approved by the All India Council of Technical Education (AICTE), New Delhi in the year 2002.In 2002, this college was under the affliation of JNTU.Later with the division of JNTU into 4 parts, this college is under the affliation of Jawaharlal Nehru Technological University, Kakinada.

MIC College of Technology is located on NH 9 in a 30-acre campus with a green fields surroundings at Kanchikacherla in Krishna District, about 35 km from Vijayawada, Andhra Pradesh.
Courses:
The college was started with three undergraduate branches(ECE,CSE,EEE) after the approval of AICTE.Later Biotechnology branch was introduced in the year 2003.In the year 2005 with the approval of AICTE, Mechanical Engineering and one post graduate course MCA was introduced in the year 2005.Recently two post graduation courses were introuced under M.Tech with specialisations Power Electronics and Biotechnology.
There are several activities which are performed by students in sports, cultral and NSS.The college provides excellent outdoor and indoor sports such as Volley Ball, Cricket, Kabaddi, Tennicoit, Chess, Table Tennis and Carroms.MIC college also has National Service scheme(NSS) in which the students go on for campaigns.
Bus facility is available to college from vijayawada to kanchikacherla.There are 20 buses under the college which provide an excellent comfort and well experienced drivers.The college provides separate hostel facility for boys and girls.The library in the college contains several books, magazines, journals, project manuals in two floors.It also provides internet facility to the students and the canteen also provides good food.
Labs are well equipped and the classrooms are well furnished.The seminar hall in the college has a 600 seating capacity and air conditioned. OHB projectors are available and all the computer labs are airconditioned.
With in a short span,it is one of the best established college and the education is excellent with a well experienced staff in different subjects.
