St Pauls High School, Hyderabad Review I am proud to say that I was a student of St Pauls High School which is located Hyderabad, Andhra Pradesh and it is one of the oldest schools in Hyderabad. I studied here from L.K.G to Class X under the famous SSC board syllabus of Andhra Pradesh. I was very fortunate and lucky to have got admitted into such a reputed institution. My school has many old buildings as well as newly renovated structures as of now. Earlier it was only boys school but in the year 1996 Co-education system was introduced.
There are also many other noted personalities who have studied here. The famous badminton player Mr. P.Gopichand is from our school only. The school also provides a good transport facility covering all parts of the city.
I belonged to Blue color house which had total of four houses in which school students were divided for march pasts, sports participation and other cultural activities. The school also has a good Basket ball ground and provides all round development for people learning Basket ball. Apart from this we also have Table Tennis room and the school organizes State level open Table tennis competition every year. There are lots of sports activities along with education curriculum happening always here. Even the cultural activities recognize and promote personality development if you want to take part in them.
This school believes in righteousness and truth and tries to empower or drive this principle of life right from a very young age in all the students irrespective of caste or religion and the motto of our school is "Truth is Light."
The quality of education is very good but it all depends upon the interest of the student to take-up studies seriously and become good responsible citizens of tomorrow. As I was growing up the syllabus also increased, but as far as I remember we didn't have that much pressure and we didn't even carried these many books as that of the present generation. The teachers were simply outstanding and they know how to deal with the students. They are professionals in injecting subject into our minds. Our teachers taught us quality of education and good morals. Today if we are in this position they are the only reason behind this. They built a base for it. I have lot of memories and feel very nostalgic about this place and I thank my parents for joining me in such a outstanding school.
