Nes International School, Mumbai Review
The NES International School building looks a bit formidable with its glass facade. At first glance, if you have not seen the school name, you will mistake it for a commerial structure! The five-storeyed school building is air-conditioned and makes use of natural light from its atrium. On the first floor are classrooms for the kindergarten students. The floors and furnitute have been carefully designed to ensure the little ones safety. The play area is located in the basement. All classrooms are equipped with a digital projector. A cafeteria and swimming pool is likely to come up soon.
The teacher-student ratio is 1:20. The school has an excellent passing record of 100%. It provides a great ambience for both academics and culturual activities. There is a good stress on the arts and students can train on a variety of musical instruments. Whats more, all students necessarily have to take part in sports.
Besides football, hockey, table tennis and swimming, there are adventure sports and paramilitary training for the students. Other activities inlcude yoga and meditation. The campus has an in-house psychologist for both students and parents.
Interestingly, parents are encouraged to attend language, yoga and optic golf classes along with their children.
