Chaitanya Bharathi Institute of Technology, Hyderabad Review
C.B.I.T. is a wonderful college. I have pursued my Mechanical Engineering from that college. The faculty is excellent. Our professors used to cooperate a lot during our paper and poster presentations. Our Mechanical workshops are well equipped with the latest machinery. Many of my professors have their thesis published in journals. I have worked on the thesis on "Control of pollutants using gasohol as a fuel in a copper coated spark ignition engine". We got commendable results. The CO and Sulphur oxides emissions were reduced by 60%. We were very proud of our results. Faculty is very friendly. At the same time our faculty are very particular about attendance.
Apart from education we had a lot of extra-curricular activities in the campus. We have our yearly cultural festival called Shruthi which is conducted for around 5 days. There are technical festivals for each department as well. In these technical festivals, there are a lot of competitions held. Applicants from all over the country apply for them. There is a good amount of knowledge exchange in these technical symposiums. We also have a fest called Carpedium which is usually held for every 4 years. Here, celebrities are invited to participate. We get huge fundings from various MNCs for these fests.
The campus is huge, and we have lawns where we can sit during our free time. Also, we have a good canteen facility.
