Review By: skp    Review Date: 15 Oct 2009    Hi EveryBody, I am going to tell you about the best school in Bokaro Steel City whose name is Delhi Public School.It is popularly known as DPS in Bokaro.It is a english medium school,which is located in sector 4 of bokaro. Over the past many years It has built a reputation for itself according to which it produces many students who crack IIT-JEE each year.there is something special in its teaching which leads these students in successfully cracking IIT-JEE exam which is one of the most toughest exam in India(and the toughest engineering entrance exam). One of the main reasons behind the success of the students of DPS is that it takes addmission of students only after strictly examining them.so all the students who join DPS are very good students in academics. For the addmission in class 11 in any stream the cutoff is very high nearly 90 percent.So whatever students are selected are toppers from their respective schools.So it becomes easier for the school administration to teach them any thing, becouse their concepts are very clear in whatever subject they study.They just need proper guidance who is very well provided by the schools teachers. The lab facilities available are excellent.The students are given full time to perform their experiments and learn by doing practicals,whatever they learn in theory. The school administration is very strict about discipline.They say that discipline is very necessary to be good student and succed in life.So a lot of emphasis is given on discipline. Here the students are not only encouraged to do well in studies but also encouraged to take part in extra-curricular activities which leads to overall personality development of a student. Is is a place which is proud of the inumerable IITians it produces every year. This is one of the schools run by the Delhi Public School Society, New Delhi, a non-profit making society.
