Kamaraj College, Tuticorin Review
Kamaraj College is one of the two arts colleges of Tuticorin for men. This college was opened by Mr.Kamaraj who was the chief minister of Tamilnadu during the period of 1980's. In the educational service of more than 25 years, this college has given lakhs of students out with good discipline because discipline is the first thing taught here.
This college has a wide cricket ground at the back side of the college class rooms and other infrastructures. Lab facilities are good with this college. Well equipped physics, chemical and botony labs are there.
As this is one of the biggest colleges of Tuticorin, it has been a big land mark in Tuticorin. The biggest college monument makes everyone to turn around to have a view on this college. It is located on the Tuticorin to Tiruchendur. The bus stop facility is just near the gate of the college.
Canteen facility is good and it is maintained well. Hostel facility for both men and women exist by separated.
Fees structure is affordable that can be paid by the middle class people too. The backward people are given scholarship through this college. The fees paying system is different and good here. That is, the students will have to pay the fees to the bank which is attached with the college infrastructure and the bill for the paid will be credited in the account of the student.
