St. Mary's Convent High School, Nainital, Nainital Review St. Marys Convent is a senior secondary school for girls founded in 1878. The school is administered by the Sisters of the Congregation of Jesus founded by Mother Mary Ward. The school is affiliated to ICSE Board. It accepts admissions in classes Prep(UKG), 3 and 11. Catholic students are given preference, though students from all backgrounds are eligible to study in this school. St. Marys Convent also known as Ramnee is situated in Nainital with an area spreading over 26 acres. There are 1,100 students in the school with 300 boarders. The school has accomodation for about 225 boarders in the senior school and 80 in the junior school. The medium of instruction and communication is strictly English. It also has 9 dormitories for the students to live in. The school has 3 fields, 1 auditorium and a basketball court.
