This college was established in 1961 as MACT (Maulana Azad College of Technology), now its an NIT (National Institute of Technology), known as MANIT. The college is headed by The principal Dr. S.C. Soni. This college provides 100% selection in campus interview.
This college is 8 km far from railway station and 8.5km from Bus-stand. There is no conveyance problem as the college has its own transportation facility. This college has one of the largest and modernized library and 24X7 internet facility in Computer Laboratory.
The college also provides hostel facility for the student from outside the city, one room for two student. And canteen facility is also at its best.
