The Ramjas college located in the North Campus is one of the oldest college of Delhi founded in 1917 by the great Rai Kedar Nath. This college is under the University Of Delhi. This college Offers many courses including both under graduate and post graduate courses.
Dr. Rajendra Prasad is the principal of this college.
The motto of this college is "knowledge has no comparison".
About Courses
There are wide variety of courses offered by this college. They not only provide different courses but they also provide excellence in them. The Ramjas college is also known for its academics and vocational training. It is also a centre of international education. The courses here are for all the 3 streams Arts, Commerce and Science.
Faculty
The Professors of this college are well experienced and very knowledgeable. But the quality of teaching by some of the professors is average as they dont bother if you dont study or attend lectures. The rules and regulations should be strict. So if you are a studious student this is the best college for you.
Infrastructure
Ramjas has a red building and the whole college is very spacious. They have all the facilities that a college should have. The library of this college is very large with a online system also. They have seminars rooms in which LCD projection system is there. Ramjas has a big playing ground and they encourage sports like athletics, cricket, volleyball, table tennis, Lawn tennis etc. They also have a 3 floor canteen and is one of the famous in north campus. There is also an Student Activity Centre for students to conduct meetings, presentations etc. They have also installed CCTV cameras for full security.
Placements
The college has started many summer internship for students. The Placement Cell contacts with different big companies like Google, Wipro, Infosys, IBM etc. So they help the job seekers to get jobs easily.
