Although, the medium of instruction is English, Hindi does not suffer a setback. Hindi is a compulsory subject in every class until the subjects become selective in the senior secondary classes. The school strives to bring out the best in the students.
The infra-structure caters to all the basic amenities required to bring up the girls in a balanced environment. The school is equipped with computer and science laboratories, sports facilities and an auditorium. The school also organises educational tours for its students to various parts of India.

The academic session, similar to all the schools in the hilly regions, starts from the month of March and ends by the begining of December. Summer Breaks are rather short for about 15 days in the month of June and Winter Vacations are for 3 months owing to the severe cold that envelops Nainital during the winter season.
