Mayoor School, Ajmer, Ajmer Review
Mayoor school is a co-education, English-medium school. It came into existence on July 9, 1980 under the auspices of the Mayo College General Council, Ajmer. The classes are from Nursery to class XII. It is a very good school and quite reputed one in Ajmer. The board is CBSC. There is no hostel facility. The school is well equipped with lab, library, playground. The teachers are well qualified.
There is a branch of Mayoor school in Noida also in Sector 126.
A wide range of diversified sports and extra-curricular activities are offered including football, hockey, one act play etc. Archery, Rifle Shooting Range and Horse riding are the activities that have been recently introduced in past 2-3 months. On 17 April 2010, there was an Inauguration of Philately Exhibition. There are 36 Hobby clubs with regular inter-house activities.
Mayoor has been awarded the prestigious International School Award (ISA) by the British Council for the year 2007-10.
