Govt Model Senior Secondary School, Ferrargunj has good infrastructure facilities. This school performs the role of a CRC (Cluster Resource Centre) for all other feeder schools of nearby areas. Both Bengali Medium and Hindi Medium from Class I to XII are taught in this school. The school has good canteen facility within the school campus and a playground too. Saraswati Puja is being celebrated in this school in a grand manner every year during the month of February.

Good: Infrastructure, playground, laboratory etc
Bad: Science stream for Class XI and XII is not yet started here. Student who want to continue their education in the Science stream needed to go to GSSS Wimberlygunj which is located at a distance of around 8kms form Ferrargunj.
